Un-preposessing exterior should not put you off! Extremely friendly and courteous staff, reasonable drink prices, GREAT service - all this and Fred Eaglesmith rocking the house!! This is a superior small music venue, NOT a 'bar that also has music.' We had a great time and will check out their show WHENEVER we are in the Phoenix area.

The Rhythm Room of one of my favorite venues in Phoenix. This place is not flashy by any means which adds to its perfection. If you are looking for a good local blues spot please come here. The bar offers a dive feel which means it's easy to get a drink to get to enjoying the music. They stay true to their roots by showing traveling artists during the week but keeping it to blues on the weekends.

Rhythm Room is one of those places that if you go with the right group on the right night, you will fall in love forever. Sure, it's old and a bit run down, but it's just a blast! Always an interesting mix of musical styles depending on the night. I wish they did more marketing for themselves. The food truck outside is tasty and they pour stiff drinks, what more could you want?

Been there a couple of time recently. Both nights they had great bands. Dancing, drinks and yummy bbq right outside. Who could ask for more

This place has incredible memories for me. At the time, I taught my future husband to dance, that dance led to a beautiful baby girl that just turned 20 today! I never knew the song or the band but they are truly thought of. It was the most romantic night of my life. (yes, I have pictures) Thank you.

When I first arrived in Phoenix, I looked for a place had had jazz and good bands and found The Rhythm Room. That discovery was had a little over a decade ago. Through the years...this place has not changed one bit. I have never had just...an ok time. The atmosphere has a New Orleans feel. The bands are always professional. The staff is always accommodating and friendly. They still do things like...print misprints as to when they open, so be prepared sometimes to wait around to get in because the place fills fast. GREAT time last night listening to The Sugar Thieves and ladies..the bathroom is a little dive rough...but that's what this place is all about! Rock On. Loved it. One of Phoenix's cultural gems.

Went there last night to watch Bass Drum of Deathrays with a friend and it was a great showing. Place was a small venue. Great for a hangout spot, maybe a date. Bartenders were nice, people seemed nice inside and outside. Would definitely come back. I really enjoy live music and this was a good place to hang out with a friend and see a show.

Fantastic place to see live music, especially if you're into Blues. Complete lack of decor; a bit run down, to be honest. None of that matters... the good times I've had and great music I've experienced there make up for it and then some. Friendly staff, great house band... the best place to hang out if you're a music purist, or if you want to experience something new.
