This might be called "Dancing Mist, Part 2."  To understand that, check out "Dancing Mist" from my first CD "Ventana." Creative fun on a rainy day!!

Another throwback slideshow and track from my 1981-82 tour with Jimmy McGriff, Arnold Sterling, and Vance James. The tour also included the wonderful saxophonist Diane Ellis, but she wasn't on this tape because this was the last leg of the first time out and we were in New Jersey before heading home. Playing this slow blues was my big feature on the gig (which I was very grateful for). For those interested, I was playing a Guild 1960 X500 with a 1979 neck (a repair not well implemented by Guild) and a Lab Series L5 amp. This period of my musical life is extremely cherished by me. I am so lucky to have been a part of this musical environment.

The Super 400 went home to it's owner on Tuesday. It was a lovely revisit. My final video with it is a tune that I wrote in 1976 entitled "Love Longing." Fitting that i should do a tune that I wrote at age 18 when I still owned my Super 400. Read the notes on my YouTube post for the whole story and talk to me personally about the further story details! Hope you enjoy my conclusion to the "Road Not Taken" with the Super 400!
