Our reservation was for 8 o'clock in early June. The sun was set but still fading. The Bay Bridge just outside the glass edifice and gradually came to life with sporadic shimmering and was fully illuminated by 9 o'clock. Our server inquired about my oyster preferences. Fortunately, I was able to remember that I prefer pacific oysters to Atlantic. She helped me to select two species from Washington, and recommended one from New Brunswick with my preference in mind. Her recommendation was spot-on.

Great place to go with friends from out of town, or simply if you love brunch. Expect a wait during brunch, and slightly understaffed. Food is well prepared and very high quality. We were time constrained and always needed to seek out our waited. He was friendly and did his best but was attempting to serve a few too many tables.

Popular. Good food. Perfect for happy hour and their upstairs private rooms are a great place for meet ups or casual biz meetings with the room being catered

Waterbar was amazing. My girlfriend and I got two of the only non-seafood items on the menu (steak and duck), and it was easily some of the best steak I've ever had. We also had some fried cauliflower as an appetizer, and it was delicious.

I love the Waterbar! Great view, great food, great service, dog-friendly patio, easy reservations -- seriously what more can one ask for? okay sure, the drinks could be a little bit cheaper, but at least they make it nice and strong so it's worth your money. We came for brunch on a Saturday morning. Reservations was super easy to make online via Opentable. I requested outdoor patio seating as we had our furbaby with us. Even though we showed up 30 minutes early, we were seated immediately. The server even brought us a freshly baked cookie bone for our dog. $1 oysters are the way to go. Their brunch items were equally delicious. If they offered unlimited mimosas they'd be the perfect place!

Pricey and popular. Make your reservations two weeks in advance, and expect to pay if you don't show. Excellent seafood but better drinks. Super convenient valet out front.

We went to the Waterbar to celebrate my mom's 75th Birthday! Getting oysters at the oyster bar can be a bit of a wait (30 minutes) due to the crowd, but as the saying goes, good things are worth waiting for! Dinner was excellent. The service was near perfect and the taste and presentation were perfect. (And my step-father was an Executive Chef, trained in France). Mix in the view of a glowing bridge and you have the maming of a perfect night. Corkage is 25.00, but you can get it for free by buying a bottle in house. We bought champagne and brought our own wine. I highly recommend this restaurant... Cindy P.

What a beautiful setting looking over the Oakland Bridge. I loved the oyster selection. This a great place to just relax, enjoy both the view and the terrific food!
