Uhmm DOLLAR OYSTERS! Only during happy hour and only in the bar area so get ready to do some hovering. We just really wanted oysters so we squished 6 of us into a 2 person table. You can only order 2 dozen oysters at a time. Definitely not enough! We ordered 4 dozen in total and probably could have ordered more, but it takes a while for them to shuck and prep them. We also ordered some other apps like the fish and chips and calamari which were pretty good. We were excited when the oysters finally came and they were decent size (I hate it when it's super small because it's a dollar). They were fresh as well and tasted really good with lemon and horseradish (upon request). We got drinks as well and they were good. Overall, it's a super nice place by the water. Of course the best part is the dollar oysters! The rest of the menu is pretty pricey so if you're not coming for the oysters, come for a nice meal.

This was some of the best seafood I have ever had (and I'm from the East Coast). From the appetizer to the dessert, everything was prepared fresh and perfectly cooked. Their menu changes frequently, so you always know you'll get the freshest ingredients.

Great view, food and service. Fresh oysters were amazing and all the starters and entrees were sharable (we decided that we want a taste of everything and it was the best decision) For starters: definitely try the fried brussel sprouts, bone marrow charwamushi, pork belly For entree: venison meat is amazing, steak and trout

Spectacular food, with a really spectacular view of the Bay Bridge. Spot-on seafood, super-fresh, expressed through a range of cuisines, all of which are modern, fresh, and with the taste of the main ingredient centre-stage. The only issue I might have is that quite a few items are imported - I'd like to see more of a focus on California's amazing array of local produce.

$1 oysters for happy 'hour' which is the majority of the day before dinner service. Friendly staff, but really busy due to $1 oyster demands. Seafood is quite fresh and the oysters are unique to Waterbar.

Boring food, terribly executed. Tuna over cooked etc. Rude hosts and weird atmosphere. A place for people that want to spend money on food but don't actually know what's good.

Expensive but worth it. Great seafood. Super bridge view. Neat ambiance. Fancy. Dress to impress.

Perfect to entertain clients as the food was excellent and the service superb. A wonderful restaurant to enjoy the SF bay's best seafood place. Great food, service and atmosphere. Combined with the scenic environment, I'd return in a heartbeat!
