With Rosh Hashanah coming up, I wanted to share a family Rosh Hashanah card from 1935.  Those pictured were killed in the Holocaust, and my grandmother saved this card.  Here's what the card says (including writing on the back) and how it was saved.

People often insist that their family's name was always spelled a specific way.  But spelling just wasn't important in past centuries.  Here's a great example to demonstrate that.
