It's no secret that my girls don't do many fruits/vegetables. Here is our list...
Allison: apples (sort of), grapes (sort of), carrots (raw), green beans, raw green pepper (sort of), watermelon, tomatoes (sort of) When I say sort of it means she will eat about 1 and is done. lol! Better than nothing.
Karsyn: Loves pineapple, tolerates bananas, likes applesauce (does that count?), but I can not find one vegetable she will eat in her lunch. I try to purchase the likes and sort of likes, but it ends up getting wasted, I'm afraid. I want my girls to eat better and I think we are making progress, but I'm starting to feel defeated. I look at all of your awesome lunches with all of the naturally colored fruits and veggies and I can't help, but WANT to be packing those this too! :( Iv'e finally gotten them to drink the vegetable fruit juices, but I really have no idea how legit that is and it does nothing to make my lunches prettier. lol! I know my girls are healthy. They get lots of exercise and eat pretty well other than the no fruit or vegetable thing. They take vitamins and drink their milk, so I guess I should stop complaining, but I just wanted to vent to people who "get it" lol! Okay rant over.
