What can be geekier then an deep study of how you can wire interconnections on RS 232. This opened my eyes, i have only used max 3 of the possible connection schemes. so much new to try ;)

Ethernut RS-232 Primer. This practical guide should help to connect your PC to the RS-232 interface of your embedded system. Unfortunately, in many modern PCs the RS-232 ports had been omitted. In this case a USB to RS-232 bridge can be used. General information about the RS-232 interface is ...

Omg. This is a long article. But it's a good walk trough of VR, AR and MR and how our relation to technology will change in the coming years.
Virtual reality is posed to become a fundamental technology, and outfits like Magic Leap have an opportunity to become some of the largest companies ever.

If Tormach shipped direct from China factory it wouldn't cost too much more than a pock nc plus an additional 3-axis cnc. It's a shame they ship from China to the states & then distribute from there. It just adds a prohibitively expensive logistics & 20% import tax for anyone in the eu

This is a very humbling exercise and especially shows you the power of deep learning! Will be awesome if they add memory and more detailed feedback loops too.,.

Playing minecraft in VR makes it feel strange to return to reality..

I am having mixed feelings about it. Of cause it's awesome, but maybe a bit too awesome?
I know several people that lost years of their life's to WoW. VR is going to make it so much worse for people that have a gaming addiction and already have a hard time managing their life.

It will be intresting to see how society and social media will transform in the coming years.
Let's hope the robotic revolution will kick in and take all our jobs before everyone drowns in VR.

Do want. But I am not sure I would dare to use it. If a MC is called a suicide machine, then what shall we call this?

"To begin, AlphaGo took 150,000 games played by good human players and used an artificial neural network to find patterns in those games. In particular, it learned to predict with high probability what move a human player would take in any given position. AlphaGo’s designers then improved the neural network by repeatedly playing it against earlier versions of itself, adjusting the network so it gradually improved its chance of winning."

This is similar to insects, where the center of the gravity is lower and legs arch up. You could add another pair of legs to this robot and would look changed at all. in fact would be even more stable.
