We have used Rogers Brock & Barker's since 1997 and have always received fantastic service from them. When you have 7 cats you need a good vets and I highly recommend these.

Have been with RBB for a number of years and have always found them to be friendly and helpful. The service I have received is second to none and I have already recommended several friends to RBB. If you are looking for a caring, professional veterinary practice then you need look no further than RBB.

Since moving to the area in 2009 I have tried a few different vets, but nothing stood out to me until I tried Rogers, Brock & Barker. I'm picky over where to take my fur babies to and even when my Shih Tzu broke her leg they were brilliant both during and after the operation. They would call me to let me know how she was doing and Bart the vet was brilliant in the after care. We will always use Rogers Brock and Barker.

It costs charities around £300 to get a litter of kittens ready to rehome. Money which could be saved by having the mother cat spayed!

If ever there was a reason to microchip your pet..

These two lovely Lakeland Terriers were stolen from their kennel in the Lake District on the 11th of November and were handed in to our Longton practice after travelling over 100 miles to get here!

Luckily both pets were chipped and we were able to contact the owners, who were overjoyed with the news and came to collect them this morning.

Having your bitch spayed is hugely beneficial to her health! It reduces the chance of breast cancer, eliminates an infected uterus (a very dangerous condition) AND ovarian and uterine cancer.

Kennel cough vaccinations now just £19.50, but why does your dog need protecting?

PLEASE don’t buy pets from sales websites, find them from rescues or registered breeders instead. Some famous sites can have up to 50,000 pets on them at any one time which only fuels the over-supply of pets & the abandonment of unwanted animals.

The ideal weight for a female boxer dog is 30kg. If she is just 5kg heavier, it is the equivalent of the average women being nearly 2 stone overweight!

Did you know dogs can often lose their scent in cold weather? More dogs are reported lost during the winter than in any other season, so please try to keep them close to you on winter walks and within sight… Also ask us about microchipping if they do not have one!
