I love this place I am a space nerd and all of the shows are great, the exhibits and interactives are awesome. The chairs were so comfortable that my dad fell asleep in there. It was a great experience. The prices were fine but we had a city pass which is recommended from me. The staff is great and the cafeteria has good food as well. Overall a definite place you should visit.

The first time I went here, I didn't explore as much as I should have and didn't realize how big it actually was. Years later, I went back for Adler After Dark with a friend and had a blast. There's so much to see and learn about, and Adler After Dark is a great opportunity to experience all of it if you don't want to share your experience with hordes of children. The view of the skyline from the planetarium is also top notch.

Went to the Adler after dark. It was fine but it was less about science or learning and more about getting drunk in a museum and goofing around. If you like getting drunk then check it out. If you want to learn anything it's not for you.

Fun for all, however, limited amount to do for adults beyond the shows. Definitely not an all day experience without children unless you spend the money to go to all of the shows.

Great Experience with interesting shows. The staff is great and enthusiastic about explaining things to the visitors. The exhibition is large and it's easy to spend a whole day in there. There are some historic things to see in the basement which is probably the best place to start the exhibition.

I would love to enjoy this place without any kids running wild and screaming at the top of their lungs. I'm not talking about my kids either, I don't have any and if I did, they wouldn't be allowed to behave like heathens. I saw some lady changing a diaper in the middle of an exhibit (asteroids). Really disgusting stuff and the staff didn't do anything about it. They really need a child free day every week. I'd gladly pay extra for access on those days.

I have a membership here. I am on the fence as to whether or not I am going to renew. I haven't been able to attend as many member events as I would like. Planetariums in general are some of my favorite places to visit. Adler is very well maintained and have great exhibits. I hope they will have more exhibits in the future where they work with private space companies. I would love to see a new Mars exhibit feature some of the ideas from SpaceX, Mars One and NASA. I would also love more adult only events.

There is so much to see you just about cannot see it all in one day. This is absolutely a 5 star place to visit, however, some of the shows are a little campy and because of that I have to give it 4 stars. If you take kids they will like the presentation. The artifacts are incredible, if you love science, space and history you'll love this place.
