The food was great! I got the dish that included a bit of everything from pupusas, tamales, fried plantains, and great beans and rice. The decor is fun and finished having a great night of salsa in the end. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to dance salsa and have a great meal too!

It was alright. Went here for a work lunch and had the taquitos. The flavor was kind of weird, but ultimately they were okay. Chips and salsa are pretty dec. Pricey for the blah food it is, but it's downtown so you know, ambiance. Wouldn't go back if I had a choice.

This is now my work's go-to place for happy hour now Brown Bar has been closed for over a year. The margaritas and sangria are yummy and only $4 a glass during happy hour. The black bean dip is delicious. I just wish their salsa had more spice to it. The Salvadorian cuisine is better than their Tex-Mex.

Their lunch menu is to die for! It all is very affordable for a good lunch in downtown Austin and the quality is worth the 5-10 minute wait you might get during it's busy times. Strong margaritas, so watch out for that if you go there for lunch with co-workers! Their tamales are definitely to be highly recommended.

Let me start by saying they have $1 mimosas on their brunch menu. That alone should be enough to get you to try Gloria's over the weekend. Their food is very good (I had the Huevos con Carne), but the portions are small for the price. But you can't beat the mimosa price, and that's what Sunday Fundays are all about, right?!

This was my first time at Gloria's and my friends have been raving about the meltdowns. So my friend and I stop in and were gonna get started with some frozen house margaritas and work our way up to the meltdowns. Sadly our journey ended at the house margaritas because they were soooo bad. They tasted old or maybe like they hadn't cleaned out the margarita machine in a while. I don't know but we asked one of the girls behind the bar & she told us they are made from scratch with gran gala, cointreau & grand marnier. (I'm not sure if she knew those are all basically the same thing but different levels of quality) We ended up exchanging the frozen margaritas for rocks. Still weren't fresh. I've never been a girl to leave a drink but I did today. The bean dip was awesome & so was our busser Alex. But I like good drinks more so I don't think I'll be back.
