SUNCATCHERS
These sun catchers came about because I had some stained glass left over from my class project, and I wanted to practice soldering.  The class project should be done this week and ready to share here.  I hope. We were supposed to be done last Tuesday but it...

FUNKY CAT
I forgot all about this guy!  He's stitched on linen, and will be a great throw pillow topper. Love his golden eye. I definitely have the stitching bug, and I'm presently taking a stained glass class. Lots of colour and sparkle to come! HAPPY 2015!

STITCHING AGAIN- COMPLETED BAG
Hi! I stitched up a laptop bag, which can be a tote for anything when not needed for the laptop. I began with 4x4 inch squares, done Teesha Moore style. After layering the fabrics and batting to make 4 inch 'pillows', I embroidered here and there. Then join...

QUICK & EASY FALL PIN
Hi Everyone! With the fall colour still blazing all around us, I was inspired to make pins. These were so easy! The base is card stock- mine was yellow/orange gelli printed, but solid colour would work as well. I stamped the leaves with Staz-on ink, then fu...

SOMETHING A LITTLE DIFFERENT
Hi Everyone! Many months ago I made up a book filled with gelli prints, as my base for an art journal. And there it sat, and sat. Fear of beginning, failure, what? Yesterday, that ended, and this page developed. I'm not sure it's finished. For now, it is.  ...

COLOUR ME FALL
Hi Everyone! The fall colours are just spectacular these days, and I love breaking out the leaves for my projects. This clean and simple card uses a stencil for the sun rays strip, and great stamp from Quietfire Design, and some die cut leaves. The top leaf...
