We searched almost endlessly for a wedding venue, combing through 'top ten' lists, wedding blogs and magazines for months. As soon as we stumbled upon Elmore Court we knew it was where we had to get married – everything about it spoke to us. We loved that it was both traditional and quirky. A lot of the big country houses we had looked at had a rather commercial quality to them – Elmore Court seemed far more personal. Also, the modern extension of the Gillyflower was a huge plus for us. When we met the team at Elmore, they absolutely sealed the deal. In the lead up to the big day, we received so much guidance from the team - helping us find other suppliers (all of whom were also excellent), planning the running order, and brainstorming food and drink choices. We visited a few times and were always made to feel welcome. We were both quite nervous on the morning of the day itself, but needn't have been - everything went so smoothly (including the October weather, which held out). Leesa was an absolute star and made sure everything went to plan. The canapés, cocktails, and food during the wedding breakfast exceeded our expectations. And of course the sound system in the Gillyflower (Funktion One) really brought the party to life! The team at Elmore even set up a fire pit in the garden which was a lovely surprise. It's a cliche, but absolutely true that all of our guests have told us it's the best wedding they've ever been to! We both look back on the day so fondly and despite all of the planning and stress, it was worth it. The team at Elmore aren't just the best at their jobs, but they're also a friendly and welcoming bunch, and frankly we couldn't have hoped for better - it was seamless from start to finish! Thank you for everything!!
