Easter Brunch. First off the positive, the quality of food was fantastic. However, it feels like the crowd was more than the restaurant could handle. Every table was occupied and the short buffet line could not handle the amount of patrons. After being seated the line for the buffet as from the back of the restaurant to the front door. We waited for over 30 to reach the buffet table. The price of $32 with mimosas was fair, but feels like a waste because we did not go up for a second course of food because of another 30 minute wait. The buffet table was also a bit messy and off-putting. I would consider this restaurant for a sit down dinner or lunch but not another buffet. They may want to consider opening another buffet line.

This is a great place with great atmosphere. The food is delicious and the staff members are always courteous and knowledgeable. Their award winning brunch is something to boast about and if that's not enough, there's a slight chance you get to meet one of the San Antonio Spurs here! Definitely visiting again.

This place has become our "go to" place. The building was the location of the original Macaroni Grill. My young son and I stopped in for lunch one day; we were headed to Rudy's next door. The chef came by our table and talked to us for quite a while. He explained the concept of the restaurant, cooking techniques, and sat and told us funny stories about growing up in Paris. Later, he sent us a chocolate fondant for desert. My son tried it, but he's a very picky eater, I thought it was amazing. When the chef asked how he liked it, he said it was OK... He called a server over and told them to bring him chocolate terrine. That, he devoured. He said whenever we come in to ask for him. He didn't know us from Adam. The chef also didn't know George Strait had been sitting two booths down, until we told him. We've been a fan of the place ever since. They have a standard menu, great for my kids because I know there's something consistent for them, and a special menu that seems to change daily based on what's in season. I can have lamb or lobster, my wife can have her Dover Sole and my kids love the beef tenderloin medallions with garlic mashed potatoes or a pizza. Prices for the standard menu are cheap and portions are huge. The special menu items are more expensive (Dover Sole $50) but the flavors and presentation are like a 4 star restaurant. We usually go with friends on Tuesday because all of the wines are half price. From the pictures hanging in the lobby, you can tell the Spurs had their championship dinners there. We've seen Coach Pop there several times picking up take-out. I guess he's why they hold fund raisers for the food bank and military vets there, too. They also have a large patio outside with live music and the folks seem to be having a great time. We try the new restaurants in the area and end up right back at The Grill. My son just had his sixteenth birthday dinner there (his request) with his girlfriend, and five of his friends. It cost me $185, including the tip. He said they treated them like royalty. The chef personally delivered his chocolate terrine. Nice touch Chef Thierry!

Fine dining... great things come in small small packages! Each bite is savory and Delicious. No need to "over eat" a full plate if you admire and appreciate what you're eating! Thanks to all the chefs 💟

Walked in and walked right back out. Had a Valentine's date with my husband, and from the initial walk in we were uncomfortable. Two employees stared at us when we entered (it looked like the owner and a hostess) and we had to initiate a dialogue, saying "a table... for two?" The hostess glared at us and turned around taking us to our table. She literally POINTED at the table going "there's your table" and we sat down. We looked at each other and immediately decided to walk out. I wish I would've picked up the menus from the table just to give it to the rude hostess and let her know we were not having it. Such an ugly group of employees.

I went with my girlfriend and her mom to celebrate her moms 80th birthday. We were seated quickly and had drinks at the table in no time at all. The chef came to the table to wish the birthday girl a happy birthday. He recommended she have the sea scallops, she did and loved them. We had wonderful time and the food was excellent. I'm Coming back for my girlfriends birthday.
