1670, England
Death: 1721
Virginia, USA

She was married to Joseph Ball.

Mary was married twice. Her first husband was a Johnson. She had a daughter by him named Elizabeth who married a Bonum. The Bonums owned a plantation called Cherry Point in the Northern Neck of Virginia. Elizabeth's half-sister, Mary Ball, spent half her time at Cherry Point Plantation. The other half was with her guardian, Col. George Eskridge, at his family seat, Sandy Point Plantation. George was Mary's guardian from 1721, when her mother died, until she Married Augustine Washington in 1731. In Feb. 1732, it is said that she named her first born son after her beloved guardian. In 1789, her son visited her in the house he bought for her in Fredericksburg, VA. He wanted to give her a purse with money to pay her expenses. She refused. He left the purse anyway. Then he went to New York City to be sworn in as the First President of the United State. Look at Fag #16211162 for more on Col. Eskridge.

The word psychopath has come to be associated with deranged raving maniac and serial killer. This connotation keeps people ignorant of the true existence of psychopaths as everyday people - neighbors, friends, coworkers, and family members. Since psychopaths are estimated 1 - 4 percent of the population, there are between 3 and 12 million in the United States alone. Europe has higher percentages.

This is the "Lackadaisical Lawson List" of pro-social psychopathic habits. These criteria are based on the life experiences of growing up with a violent psychopathic father and subsequently, being (unknowingly) married to a nonviolent high-functioning sociopath.
