+Barack Obama Is this the kind of country you want to be? Good question - “The shooter was apparently armed with a handgun and a powerful assault rifle. This massacre is therefore a further reminder of how easy it is for someone to get their hands on a weapon that lets them shoot people in a school, or in a house of worship, or a movie theatre, or in a nightclub.
We have to decide if that’s the kind of country we want to be. And to actively do nothing is a decision as well.”

So I've been using this company's products for a while A-PDF

Very light programs that do pretty powerful things with PDF documents.

I have specifically used A-PDF Content Splitter. This will take a large PDF with repeated pages. An example, just a few days ago, my payroll company gave me a T4 PDF with all our staff's T4's in it. With the Content Splitter I was able split these out into separate files with the names of the staff as the file names.

The other one I use on a regular basis is called A-PDF AutoMail

This will automatically mail PDF's with a predefined template based on content in the PDF file.

I've used this to send out bulk invoicing to clients, where their email is in the invoice. I also used to use it for staff's pay stubs. They really do work amazingly well, and I think everyone could find a use for them.

I'm currently looking at the PDF to excel app to gather Toronto Hydro bills (we have 65 properties in Toronto, so 65 bills a month) and turn them into one excel document that takes info out of each pdf (usage, amount, property etc.)

This could once again save me hours of time.

Full transparency: We are a charity, and A-PDF is willing to give us a free license to PDF to Excel if I write a review.

That being said, I really have used their products for years, and love them.

After the Liberals refuse to even consider Bombardier's jets for Porter at the Island Airport, they are now considering bailing them out... Cute.

Proud to be Canadian looking through #WelcometoCanada today. Welcome to your new home, it's cold, but pretty awesome.

If anyone wants access to the OneDrive for Business Next Gen Sync Client Preview let me know. I got the link today. Seems great so far, it synced my whole library without error.  I'll know in a month if there's no sync errors it will be better than the current awful sync client.

After a federal election that hit a record turnout, 69%, it's easy to see why Canada is the true North strong and free. Lest we forget why. #rememberanceday
