Just a couple of totes and some stuff for sale.
The end of the school year is fast approaching so I thought I better get started on the kids' teacher appreciation gifts. Like last year , I started with a couple of tote bags. The free pattern and video instructions for these are part of Bag Making Basics ...

The winner of four patterns of their choice is: Doris M! I have already received her email and she has made her choices. And because her birthday was Saturday I threw an extra pattern in there for her. Thank you all for entering.

Just added a few things to the booth.
Patriotic Red, White and Blue Candle Mat or Table Topper/Centerpiece. Show your American Pride with this cute candle mat or table topper/centerpiece. Machine pieced and machine quilted. This also makes a great gift for teachers. Measures approximately 14 1/4" from one point to opposite point. Easy to care for, this candle mat can be machine washed and dried with your other laundry. Made with cotton fabric, polyester thread and polyester batting.

A few quick finishes.
I am trying really hard to stick to my goal of finishing projects I have already started. And while I did venture from that goal and make some candle mats, for the most part I have stuck to my goal. These candle mats were new projects (tsk tsk). These dresd...

How to See ALL of your Facebook Posts
Most people think if they like a page on Facebook they will get updates whenever that page makes a post, whether it's a link, a share, a photo, etc. I don't think a lot of people realize that even though the pages you like are posting, you aren't seeing all...

If you love sewing, then you probably already know and love the handmade community over at Etsy. Where ever you are in the world you can set up your own store selling either your hand-made treasures or crafting supplies.  Or you can buy from many of the small and independent sellers – people just like you. I have my own store there too, called Print or Plain, a reference to the bags I used to sew and sell. Before this one I had another store sell...

This quilt gave me a lot of trouble. First I ran out of denim fabric so I had to use brown for the border. Then as i was quilting my thread kept breaking so I had to set it aside for two days out of frustration. I did realize after two days I hadn't changed...
