OK ambience but terrible staff and incredibly rude manager! Not worth it!!! There are too many other places offering good service and quality food on the Upper West Side,

Great brunch place in a great location. The chilaquiles were delicious! They also have bottomless mimosas. I definitely need to go back.

This is our go-to brunch spot. Sarabeth's across the street always has an hour or more wait and is very expensive. Tolani is dog-friendly outside and has fantastic brunch at very reasonable cost.

I am a native New Yorker and will keep to the directness of how we are known to be :) Food: Excellent! Have the Short iIb Braised Collard Greens and the Moroccan spices Lamb Couscous :) Drinks: Excellent. Great South African wine selection. Space: This is a very elegant, rustic and modern wine bar/restaurant. The bar is intimate and open making it great for mixing and mingling. Great place to bring a date, impress your significant other or get-togethers. Scene: Romantic. Date night. Pickup scene. Singles scene. Girls night out. Crowd: 30-50s Pick-up scene. Mostly professionals and locals. Service: Excellent! The staff is very courteous, knowledgeable & professional.

The food was cold. Lighting so dim that you could not see what you were eating. Service slow. Had to ask for bread, butter out 10 minutes later.

I have been a regular at Tolani since it opened. One of my favorite neighborhood spots. The management and owners are so personable and friendly. The food is delicious and unique. It has something for everyone. You can't go wrong with any wine on the menu. The owners are well versed and willing to suggest. I promise you won't regret your visit to Tolani!
