Old south spa experience! Its like you stepped back in time enjoying a spa day as Ms Scarlett O'hare would. I had the 1-hour facial with Diana Doss, she was well experienced as an licensed asethician over 25 years, and recommended the right treatment for my combination skin. Lovely the products (ALL NATURAL)!! Deep cleansed my skin and hydrated my face giving me a bright dewy, beautiful glow! The facial was accompanied with and soaking foot bath, neck, shoulder, arm, foot massage and hand treatment. They served light refreshments upon entry and exiting. If you want something different, other than your typical cold and sterile looking spa..this is the place!

I am a regular at Scarlett's Retreat, generally getting a 30-minute deep tissue massage once/month, if I can. I get terrible migraines due to muscle tension in my neck and shoulders, and Scarlett's Retreat is my favorite place to go for relief. They wash your feet while you wait in the cozy Relaxation Room (and you get to wear THE MOST COMFY ROBE EVER!), which I thought was really above and beyond, and have a snack plate and water waiting for you after massages. They also sell a lot of neat things along the lines of aromatherapy, skincare, etc. The only thing is they appear to have high turnover. But everyone they've had has been wonderful. Make sure to let them know your preferences; one time I didn't and I did get a massage from someone whose strong point didn't seem to be deep tissue -- but that wasn't her fault or the spa's fault.
