Most awful, worst hotel I've ever stated in. I was booked for 5 nights but only stayed 1 and the 1 was gut wrenching. As soon as u walk in the front door, all u smell is mold, mildew & intense chemical smells (an attempt to cover up the mold smell?). The room was disgusting, I wouldn't even take my shoes off & it appears to have been flooded at some point. My 1 night was on the 1st floor & all of the furniture, baseboards etc are ruined. It seems the place should have been gutted after a flood but nothing was done & they threw on some paint to cover it up. The sink was clogged, only given sheets on bed (no blanket or comforter), and the ac/heater stunk so bad I couldn't breath & thought I was going to throw up. The hot breakfast wasn't edible, the cold was fine but the oj tasted funny, like tap water or something. Horrible 1st experience to Houston until I switched hotels away from AIRPORT BLVD. I was actually afraid I was going to catch a disease in the room. The staff are unprofessional & don't assist to ur needs at all.

The hotel was clean, and the room was fine. Checked in at 3am because of a cancelled flight. I asked for late check-out because my rescheduled flight was at 4pm, but the receptionist told me I'd have to ask in the morning. The receptionist in the morning only gave us an extra half hour on our check-out time. Summary: good room, bad service.

Get a second floor room. It smells much better than the third floor.

Overall a crappy experience. You do get microwave and fridge which is hard to come by. That is nice. The bed is fair, but the pillows are way too flat. You really have to mash them up to get any support. You basically get two sheets and no comforter on the bed, so if the temperature is not just right, you'll be freezing. Staff in general can't be bothered to help with anything. They got together at Home Depot I think, and picked out the most ghastly parking lot white lamp bulbs they could find. Not what I want in my room. Lastly, the gym is useless. They have the worst equipment I've seen in a whole. Some Fitnexx off brand. Cheap plastic that creaks and groans and I could tell injury was awaiting if I kept at it. Lastly: DO NOT rely on their shuttle to get you anywhere important on time.

Very pleasant experience. Stayed on the first floor. Room was huge. Furniture was old and worn could use a update in that department but it was functional. Did smell a big smoky but got housekeeping on it right away and it was fine. It was surprisingly very quiet. I was expecting to hear the planes. Only hard the people above me once walking across the floor. Breakfast was good not fine dining but good. All personnel except for one was very pleasant. The head housekeeper Im guessing she was was very snooty for lack of a better word. I will definitely stay again.

Very clean and cozy only complaint is the pillows. Best thing about this hotel though is TV has a guide.

Polite staff when we checked in. The room was very clean and had desirable decorations. We only stayed at this hotel for one night (less than 8 hours), but the experience was good. The clerk could see that we were quite tired upon arriving, and she asked if we wanted a wake-up call, which I consider excellent customer service.

Holes in the wall from past paintings, AC unit was the loudest i've ever heard and the fridge kept making this rattling sound when it would turn on (so bad i had to unplug it to sleep).
