This was part of the reason I switched from Mac to PC a while ago. Part of the reason - but it definitely factored into it. If I still had the Mac, I'd be making sure I was Bootcamped to the hilt. :)
Sadly, though, this is the nature of things. As successful as Macs have become, they're still a fraction of the market. I know Blizzard has always marketed to Mac, too, but that's always felt like it was part of the DNA of that company. All other companies, Macs are just something to go for if the numbers add up. And sadly, generally, they don't.
Don't dismiss Bootcamp, though. It works very well, and is a very workable solution. Obviously, there's a cost there, in buying a copy of Windows to put on the machine, but if it's that or buying a whole new computer... Well, it's obvious which is cheaper.
Yes, it sucks that EA/Bioware can't develop for everyone, all at once. But it is just the way of the world.
