I was checking out everyone's comments from that run over on the wrangler forum and everyone kept asking, "Who's green jeep is that? It looks awesome." Lo and Behold, here it is! Of course, everyone wanted to know the specs on what you're running.
Left Hand Canyon OHV, Colorado
It's an "08 Rubicon and I'm running a 4 inch Teraflex complete suspension setup with 13 inch travel shocks. Poison Spyder BFH Bumpers, GenRight fenders, Rock Hard skid plates, Sleeved and gusseted front axle, PSC ram assist steering, Mopar/Hutchinson dual beadlocks and 39" Pitbull Mad Dog tires. It does well off the road.
My brother in law pushed me to get the Military 37" Hummer tires. I thought they looked sweet, but man I had no idea they could wear out OEM parts like toothpicks! Any ideas on re-enforcing the drivetrain? I've got a Tremec T-176 4 speed manual tranny and a Dana 300 transfer case. Thanks for the feedback
Without swapping axles? One piece rear chromolly or 300m shafts and chrmolly or 300m front shafts. Yukon or Superior would most likely be your best bet for axles. The d300 is pretty bulletproof, I sell TeraLow kits for it if you wanna go 4:1 in the tc. Lower that crawl ratio and break less stuff.
