Me, my fiancé and our family pit bull are at the cabin Southern Grace. This cabin was clean and neat when we checked it. Beautiful views!! It is located off the main path so I had privacy. A lot of the reviews scared me but I think they are either super picky or they should have looked around and picked a better cabin. Some of them are very close and no privacy for your family. I give Southern Grace five stars and will be returning again! Thank you for a perfect stay!!!

Stayed in Smokey Mountain Retreat first off the cabin was nice on the outside and decent on the inside. The first few hours we were there I noticed it was kind of warm in the cabin but it was very hot outside. turned the ac down to 68 waited a bit and it was still 80 inside the cabin waited a while longer and still no change. so I called maintenance and a few hours later they showed said nothing was wrong. The guy crawled under the house and check still nothing wrong. same thing the next day and the day after 80 degrees. on the 3rd evening they came and recharged the system and still really no help. We tried the hot tub out guess what it didn't work I called for three days about that but I was at the top of the list...or was I. Also the ps4 didn't work so we didn't have Netflix or hulu as advertised but I didn't really care. But if your going to advertise something it should work. I think but that's my opinion. The pool was nice except the restrooms they were disgusting no toilet paper no towels. its nice to have a restroom down there but if you cant use them why have them. Maybe when you have the people clean the cabins have them check restroom. Just a suggestion. The hike to the pool is to long for kids to be running back and forth...CLEAN UP THE RESTROOM AT THE POOL...NASTY. I'm sure they will put that at the top of their list. My biggest complaint is that on vacation I shouldn't have to call a maintenance man to come take of problems these things should be worked out before you get there. that's why they call it vacation.... One star cause it wont let you post without it!!!!!!

Have rented cabins from other companies in the smokies and Dreaming above the Clouds was by far the worst I have rented. A cabin listed to sleep 38 SHOULD sleep 38. One futon was broken, one pull out sofa was unsleepable, and yet another futon was in pieces on the floor with a bag of screws to put it together. We were down 6 beds from the start. There was no hot water, and after being the 13th person in line to tell the office, someone came out at 11:30 at night, after everyone was in bed, to correct it. The lights in the game room had to be on in order for the lights in the adjacent bedroom/bathrooms to be on. Really? So many complaints I do not even know where to begin. Unhelpful office personnel, long hold times, shortage of parking spaces, one standard refrigerator for 38 people, filthy floors (my 4 year old had black feet at the end of our stay from the floors in the cabin), water dripping to a lower bedroom when the shower in the bathroom above it was being used, barely any pots/pans available, to name a few. Yes the view was spectacular but only had three rocking chairs on the porch to sit and see it. Did I mention the cabin was suppose to be for 38 people! So embarrassed to be the one that booked this for our family reunion. Never again.

We stayed in the Bearly Believable cabin and that was truly what it was - unbelievable. We had multiple issues during our stay and did not leave very happy. However, after reading my Google review, Natalie B one of the managers, did reach out to me to try and accommodate and resolve some of the issues. She was very concerned, helpful and very friendly. While the cabin was a bust, I do appreciate the effort she made because when you spend hard earned money to take a vacation with you family and do not end up satisfied, it is disheartening.

We rented the dreaming above the clouds cabin July 11-15 2016, the cabin was the worst disaster I have ever seen or been in. there was 1 broken futon, the furniture was worn out, there was not enough hot water or water pressure, the place was dirty, the hot tube did not work, we were told we had access to a pool but could not use it due to the owner of the cabin not paying the dues to be able to use it. the balconies railings were loose there were screws sticking up on the decking, also while we were out we had "service men" show up to work on things on 2 different days. the refrigerator had dents in it where it looked like it was damaged, there were not enough sheets or towels AFTER SPEAKING WITH THE COMPANY WHO DOES THE CABIN RENTALS, i WANT TO UPDATE MY REVIEW TO LET PEOPLE KNOW THEY HAVE HAD AN EXTERMINATOR OUT TOT TAKE CARE OF THE COCKROACHES AND ALSO HAVE HAD SERVICE MEN OUT TO TAKE CARE OF THE REPAIRS IN THE CABIN. the COMPANY IS ALSO TRYING TO MAKE CHANGES TO MAKE THE POOL AREA MORE ACCESSIBLE AND EASIER FOR OTHER VISITORS TO FIND. NOW THIS COMPANY DID NOT HAVE TO REACH OUT TO ME AND MY FAMILY BUT THEY DID ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS TO TRY AND MAKE THINGS RIGHT AND MOST IMPORTANTLY TO MAKE SURE THAT IF ANYONE ELSE STAYS IN THE THE CABIN THEY HAVE AN EXCELLENT VACATION.

OK...to be honest the cabin it self was great! We stayed at Grander Grace at The Preserves. The view was beautiful. The drive not so much. Before I booked this cabin I did ask how the drive was and the lady response was its not bad! Whatever! I live in the country, and the road to this cabin is awful! Straight up straight down nothing to help if you hit the edge of the road. The reason I wasn't happy with this part is because I told her we had elder people going who didn't like the mountain drive and she said oh this drive isn't bad! She lied! Be warned that they make you sign a contract that you have to be quite between 10 pm and 7 am but your neighbors DON'T! we had a wild bunch next door that was rude til 3 in the morning! When I called the office they told me that I had to call the law not them. Hot tub never worked but I didn't complain because we were to afraid of the loose banister to even go out.! If you are looking at this cabin it is very nice but be warned the drive is awful to any cabin in the Preserve!

My family and I stay at the Legacy Lodge July 14-19, 2016. First, let me say the customer service at the front desk was awful. Check in starts at 4pm, to say the least we didn't check in until 1hr 30mins later, directions provided to the cabin was incorrect. Front desk seem very inexperience with how to check in customers. When we arrived to the cabin, the maintenance man was there fixing a cabinet and left. I called the front desk requesting maintenance to return, another cabinet needed to be fixed because the fire extinguisher was showing, never fixed the entire time we were there. As I walked in, one of the stainless steel refrigerators had so many dents in it (not luxury at all), light bulbs blown, needed replacing, 4 TVs were out; maintenance came to fix 2, two TV's were still out the entire stay. Remote controls was not working for most of the TV, had to share remotes. Basement smell like mildew, one of the hot tubs was not "hot" instead cold. Carpet need to be cleaned throughout the house, black noticeable spots all over the carpet, "big" stain in the master bedroom. Water throughout the house is clear black (YUCK). Maintenance said we needed to run the water to flush it out (WTH). For a house that has 12 bedrooms, sleep 58 people. You would think they would have a trash compartment for that size of a house, but it only a two (2) trash can dumpster outside the house. We didn't know this until the third day, had to call everyday for trash pick up. Cannot put trash outside because of the bears and large raccoons. The kitchen is not big at all, the scenery on the back porch is nothing but trees (not refreshing). The cleaning company did not clean very well, stringy hair was all over the bathrooms. Also, if you plan to grill out there's only 1 grill the size to accommodate food for a family of 4, not 58 people. My family and I was highly disappointed with the false advertisement (pictures) online. I have several pictures to post. I recommend the owners of this cabin do a major clean up to this "supposedly" luxury cabin. Overall the we all enjoyed ourselves doing different activities.
