I have read SO MANY negative reviews concerning Gatlinburg Falls Resorts. I was nervous and prayed about the decision I had made to book with this company. But despite all of the negative reviews, we just got back on yesterday and WE had the BEST experience EVER!! From the time of check in until check out!!!! We had to wait to check in because the cabin was not ready, however we were given a late check out time due to the fact the cabin wasn't ready at check in. Each and every time I spoke with someone. Customer service was SUPERB!!!! The cabin was AWESOME!!!!! We will be going back for Thanksgiving!!!! Thanks Cabins of the Smoky Mountains for a GREAT experience!!!!

I received promotional email from Cabins of The Smoky Mountains and called to make a reservation for 4/29 and 4/30 (Fri-Sat). When I spoke with a rep on the phone he told me they had a 3 night minimum stay all year. However when you read their web page is states 3-5 night minimums only on certain holidays and other special occasions, NOT for the weekend we're looking for. Called the rep back and was told it doesn't matter what the web site says, it's a 3 night minimum all year. Am I wrong or is this false advertising? The web site clearly states one thing but the reps tell you something completely different. We have stayed at this resort twice, neither were for 3 nights, but will not vacation here again.

I paid for an extended family vacation through Gatlinburg Falls Resorts/Cabins of the Smoky Mountains. It was horrible (you can find my experience in another review). Now, a representative is calling and emailing me non-stop to get my family to stay with them again. She offered a measly 15% discount, but will not book a stay until I remove my negative Google review. Laughable. I am a licensed real estate agent in North Carolina. Property management companies are generally a pain to work with. However, some are the dregs. THIS company is the epitome of "the bottom of the barrel." Its practices are shady, at best, and they seek to make a profit at any available cost. Yes, they have a fiduciary responsibility to their clients (the cabin owners) - a responsibility to maintain the property for a profit to the owner. This is the role of property management. They do not represent the customer (you). And this company takes that philosophy to a whole new level. I know that cabin rentals are the "thing" in the Gatlinburg/Smoky Mountain area, but I would stay away from this company. Please don't ignore the numerous negative reviews in the hopes you'll have a different experience....

When I called to book a cabin, I specifically asked for a cabin with a pool inside the cabin. I asked for 4 nights. Upon receiving our confirmation email, we saw that we were booked for a cabin without a pool and for 3 nights. I immediately called when I noticed this error. The customer service rep placed me on hold twice, for at least 25 minutes of a 30 minute call. She informed me that the only thing they could do for me was add on another night(at my cost) and offer me 10% off. When I requested that they reschedule or switch our cabin, they said they could not. I was also informed by the customer service rep that she had talked to the rep who originally booked us and she booked that because there was access to a local pool(not what I asked for). I asked to speak to a manager, who also informed me he could do nothing for me. When I asked to speak to someone higher, he told me there was no one higher than him and he made all decisions. Since they were not willing to fix their employees mistake, I decided to take my business elsewhere. They do not refund your deposit, even when mistakes are made on their end. I will never book with a company who treats their customers so poorly.

Very disappointed, absolutely horrible and pathetic service. I don't have words to describe my ordeal. These guys have ruined my vacation. I would not recommend this rental agency or cabins to anyone. After an 8 hour drive I reached the cabin with my wife and children by 9:00PM only to realize that cabin has no water, kitchen dishes were uncleaned and dirty, bathroom commodes were uncleaned and were not flushed and had poop in them.I tired to use the phone available in the cabin to call the rental agency to report the Issues, but only 911 calls are allowed from the cabin phone. AT&T cellphone service is not available in the area due to which I had to drive a few of miles to make call to the rental agency. I was being told to be patient and that maintenance would fix the Issues within 4 hours, but no one came to fix the Issues and without water we were not able use the kitchen or to cook food for my children nor were able to use the rest rooms for the whole night. Google does not allow negative rating otherwise I would have given a minus rating for the service.

Grotestque neighbors and terrible service is where I would start. I thought bringing my two sons would be a good idea because I just went through a bad divorce and they needed a break. Oh boy did I make a bad decision. I thought being friendly to the neighbors would be a good start to the weekend but they nicknamed my son Mingey at first I thought that was kind of sweet, but little did I know that Mingey or a minge is a vagina. The water in the sink started coming out brown and we called the front office to have it be fixed and they told me they'd charge me for it having to be fixed even though it wasn't my fault. Having thought it was a friendly environment I left a window open and a Hispanic man ran in and stole my speakers and I had to run down and chase him. One night the neighbors got so loud and hectic they started to chant Mingey Mingey Mingey. I went over to politely ask them to stop because my young Greggory was crying and they wouldn't budge. That's when I called it and packed up the car that night and left at 6am the next morning leaving two days early. Do not go!

I came down with my wife and my two beautiful little girls: aged 2 and 4, along with another family. Upon arrival, we loved the outside of the cabin and we could not wait for this vacation. When inspecting the house for damage when we arrived, I noticed a dead mouse in the corner of the kitchen. Later that night I walked in to find 3 used condoms in one of my daughters' beds, who to my discomfort was playing with the condom as a balloon, blowing into the hole with blood and sperm all over it. Disgusting! The week went well after that until they started to charge with me missing items we had no idea about. Very disappointed with the service.

I pride myself on being a strict but fair yelp and google reviewer. This place was not good. I remember requesting old spice body wash for the showers and what did we get? dove bars. How do you call yourself luxury when you just toss a bar in your showers and call it a day? I'd rather spend a weekend showering with joepa (go lions). Upon arrival there were mice inside the cabin that did not stop bugging our group for food/water the whole time. The beds were super squeaky so if there's more than 1 person in your cabin kiss your good night sleep goodbye! and did I mention the lack of a working hot tub? There was also some left over fecal matter inside the hot tub, I assume from the group before or the mice. To add insult to injury the place charged our group for old spice body wash. I forget what I paid for this vacation but it wasn't worth it. weather was nice 2/5
