This was my second time reserving a cabin and this experience was a lot better than the first. Ash, a member of guest care with the company reached out to me to discuss my previous stay. Ash was very polite and understanding of my previous experience and vowed that my next stay would be better. We selected the cabin Legacy Views and a Theater and what a view we had!!! The check in process was easy and quick and the young man at the front desk was very nice. The whole stay was exceptional and was more than what we expected. We were very pleased with the cabin and everyone that we came in contact with during our stay. Thanks Ash for your immaculate customer service!

If I could give this place a 0 star, I would. We drove to TN for 7+ hours and arrived to a cabin that was dirty and just flat out not what we paid for. The bed was hard as a rock. The couches we filthy. The blinds on all the windows were broken. The description online stated we would have "gorgeous views" of the mountains and got nothing but trees. We even called and confirmed with someone about it. We tried to work it out with the management and even offers to pay more to move to an available cleaner cabin with a view and they refused. Horrible experience. On top of that, we were hung up on at least 3 times. Don't waste your money. There are plenty of better places.

Sanctuary Cabin-When we first got here it was nice but after the 2nd night we discovered cockroaches in our kitchen. There is only cable in 2 rooms there is animal feces on the porch the Xbox one doesn't work and there is only 1 bathroom and its in the only bedroom a few minutes ago I found a cockroach in my bed!!! The view isn't as great as it is on the picture they are building a new cabin and they work at 8:00 in the morning when ur trying to sleep! I wouldn't recommend this to a friend I will return but not to this place! bathroom and its in the manned room

Overall, I was extremely disappointed with the quality of this cabin. My family and I were looking forward to having a nice vacation, not a half broken experience, with uncomfortable sleeping conditions. 1) Check-in/out system was incredibly disorganized. I completed the virtual check-in process days in advance, but we did not receive door codes to get in until 45 min after we supposed to be able to check-in, and that was after I called, waited on hold for 20 mins, and asked them about it. 2) This cabin was advertised as having two bedrooms, but it only had one bedroom. This was a pretty big blow, as we had several couples and children staying in the cabin, and had organized our sleeping arrangements assuming we were getting the two bedrooms this place boasted about online. 3) The HVAC system on the top level was not working properly, and that level was uncomfortably hot to sleep in. The staff must have known it didn't work properly, because aside from a sign next to the thermostat that said not to turn the temp down below 70 or the unit would freeze up (there's no way the 70 on the thermostat resulted in 70 degree room temps, btw), there was also a bucket located in the closet with the furnace to catch the condensate. It was so full of water, we had to empty it for fear it would overflow during our stay. 3) The stove was broken. The basketball game in the basement was broken. The pool table was torn up, and many of the sticks were broken. The pullout sofa did not have any bedding on it and when we laid on it, it completely bowed in toward the center like a bowl. The bubble setting on the hot tub was broken. The hose next to the hot tub leaked constantly, even when the handle was firmly turned off. The main floor furniture was worn and disgusting looking. Personal items from other guests were discovered in the bedding. The bunk bed did not have sheets. Overall, the condition of this cabin was shabby and seemingly uncared for. 4) There weren't any kind of instructions given on what was expected upon check-out, such as, did dishes and bedding need to be washed, towels cleaned, etc. We also were left clueless as to if/how we should go about checking out. Do we just leave? Do we call someone? We had no idea. Considering that you take the time to list the extreme monetary penalties for late check-out, it was disconcerting to wonder if we might be subject to these fines simply because we didn't know how to notify that we were leaving on time. Terrible experience.

Me, my fiancé and our family pit bull are at the cabin Southern Grace. This cabin was clean and neat when we checked it. Beautiful views!! It is located off the main path so I had privacy. A lot of the reviews scared me but I think they are either super picky or they should have looked around and picked a better cabin. Some of them are very close and no privacy for your family. I give Southern Grace five stars and will be returning again! Thank you for a perfect stay!!!

HORRID EXPERIENCE!!!!! I would give this cabin 0 STARS! Check in was at 4 pm and they refused to give us the door codes because someone was INSPECTING the cabin until 6pm.... At 430 am I woke up with stinging sensation on my hands and arms to discover I had been bitten several times. I woke my husband up who also had bug bites. We seen bugs in our bed. We called the front desk at 430 am the guy arrived at 6am to inspect the cabin. He was useless! He was inspecting by pulling up pictures on his phone that his wife had sent him of images of bed bugs to assist him in identifying them. He did not do a thorough inspection. The cabin rental would not give us a FULL refund and did not offer to find a clean cabin to stay in. At 6 am in the morning my husband and I along with kids ages 1,2, and 4 were STRANDED! Since we have been home we have requested at least a minimum of 6 times to speak to management and have not been successful at speaking to one. Don't waste your time or money there are PLENTY of other great cabin rental places in the area. Hopefully, this post will deter at least one family from having a horrible experience and look else where for lodging!

For my first cabin, I did a decent job at picking a good one. The kitchen appliances are new, and they give you everything you need. The beds are seemingly newer, and everything was spotless when we walked in! The customer service has been great too! The only issue is make sure you check into the PIGEON FORGET welcome center location. We drove an extra 20 min thinking it was in seiverville. The cabin is also a good 30-45 min away from the tourist locations. But other than that everything is good!

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY! Unfortunately, Sweet Dreams, the cabin we rented, was more like a nightmare! To bad too, because this place could be a nice place to stay, but no quality control forces me to give this company a bad review. After driving 8 hours of a 10 hour trip to the destination, just prior to arrival, management informed us of an issue with the lock on the back door of the cabin. You couldn't lock it and it was not expected to be fixed anytime soon. Upon arrival at the rental office to check in, despite my wife's concern about being unable to secure the cabin while we were out, nobody attempted to offer another location to deter her concern. Additionally, they had screwed up our reservation and had to refund our credit card, as they had charged us twice for our rental. Upon our arrival at the cabin, which they had told us was secluded, we found the location in the middle of a development, surrounded by other cabins within earshot, as well as neighbored by a local, running a business out of his home. Guess we should have asked for a definition of secluded? There were broken steps, with nails exposed and a filthy gas grill on the front porch. After several attempts to gain entry and after figuring the door was warped, we got in only to find, broken blinds, and a sleeper couch that looked like it was picked up on the side of the road - broken and filthy dirty. In short, the cabin was dirty - stove top, living room floor, bath tub, which was advertised as a jacuzzi - that didn't work. A hose to fill the "hot tub" was left unfurled on the deck, for somebody to trip on and the back door screen had been previously cut to gain entry and was not repaired. We found our towels were not "clean" and actually went out, purchased detergent and bleach and washed them ourselves. It was obvious there was absolutely no quality control. Nobody watching this place fall apart. Lots of evidence of wood eating insects in the front stair railings and the eves of the dorm. We have rented in the Smokies before and had a great experience. So - shop around and do not use this company, there are much better managed properties.
