"X-citing STEM Partnership for All Schools" http://feedly.com/k/154suLl

The USA Science and Engineering Festival is looking to sign up 500-700 K-12 schools nationwide to their X-STEM school project this fall in anticipation of the largest STEM festival in the United St...

what a sad circle.  awareness is paramount.  My employer founded a group aimed both at preventing child abuse and helping the children who are victims of child abuse and we often try to brainstorm about effective slogans or ad ideas.  it is difficult to grab the same simple thought nugget that "back to sleep" did for SIDS awareness/prevention which has always been his goal.
Although cool is hardly the right word here. Copyranter comments on the award-winning ad: Doing an effective child abuse awareness print campaign is nearly impossible. I've seen so many bad ads in thi...

Ridiculous. What recourse do you have when the right shuts people out of a debate like this? the only way I can understand this type of thing is relating it to the old school patriarchal "father knows best" so sit down, women should be seen but not heard type of thing. I guess a lot of us are not past that. Not when it weakens our power. Equal treatment is not a win win for some, it is a zero sum game.

Go dad!

Now that Dad is a hero in my eyes because it is all about his 5 year old son. Think about it....you are going to get down on your knee at your son's level and look into the 5 yr old innocent eyes and try to explain society? I don't think so. Hip Hip Hooray for the man that has the real balls, Nils Pickert. That Dad is a REAL man!

Great place! We went in the morning, took a break for lunch and went back for a few more hours. Lots of fun for our 3 yo and almost 6yo. Would be fun for older as well. Staff was very knowledgeable and friendly.
