The Android lag fix that really wasn't

I found the story of Seeder quite fascinating. Seeder is an Android app that spread quite fast, because it allegedly fixed Android lag by shoring up a deep-down pool of random numbers. It has since been nay-sayed and criticized, but I can definitely see both sides of the argument.

Ever wiped your system clean, installed all the same apps and data, and wondered, "Wait, why is this faster, if it's exactly the same again?" That's where the hope of a core Android improvement, from an outside source, springs from. And it's a strong little flame.
