This is the best spa in the city of Chicago my friend recommended this place and now I am addicted to it. Also the biggest benefit is for your wallet you will save about 30% comparing to other spas believe me I did my research I will give this place 10 * see if I could go see girl name Agata....

They are amazing! Love this place! The people were friendly and professional. They have reasonably prices. I recommend them to everyone I know. They're the best!

I was on Groupon and looking for a haircut deal. I came across one for Chocolate for Your Body, and thought it'd be a good deal. It was a haircut and deep conditioning for $29. I ended up having to wait over a week to even get in because they only have one hair stylist. What salon only has one stylist? I instantly regretted not checking before I bought the deal. I went in for my appointment and the reception was extremely rude. She acted as though I interrupted her Facebook chatting so I could check in. I waited 10 minutes while the stylist stood there and chatted with the receptionist. She then called me over to do the "deep conditioning". She washed my hair and put in conditioner and had me sit with it in for about 5 minutes. (Something I could have just done at home) She was awfully rough with my head while washing and cutting it. I asked for layers and about an inch off. Instead I got an uneven haircut. She only cut one side of my bangs and ignored the other. The bottom of my hair looked as though someone had just taken scissors and clipped however they felt best. I had to get it fixed elsewhere. I don't know how the rest of their services are, but I highly suggest that you skip getting a haircut from here!

Just recently moved to Chicago and found "Chocolate for your body" while searching for a SPA. Since I didn't know anyone masseurs I took the first available date and ended up with Carla. She was amazing!!! I have problems with my spin - it's a little twisted therefore my arms fall asleep quite often. After 1h massage I felt great because she knew what to do and how to make the pain go away. Also I felt soooo relaxed afterwards. I will definitely be a regular and although I have no compare to other masseuses in "Chocolate for your body" I highly recommend Carla - you just can't go wrong with her!

I just moved to Chicago and I was looking for a salon within walking distance of my University Village apartment. Chocolate for Your Body had some good reviews, so I scheduled an appointment just for a haircut through the website. Their response was prompt, though for some reason they scheduled me as a Groupon customer- which I was not- and for a deep conditioning treatment. This wasn't a big problem except that I didn't need a deep conditioning treatment-- which I told the receptionist at the desk. Contrary to other reviews here, I was not greeted warmly. The receptionist seemed disinterested and told me to wait for my hair stylist. She did not offer to take my coat or bring me water, despite what other reviewers have said. Perhaps this is because she thought I was a Groupon customer (which shouldn't matter)? Perhaps it was an off day? My hair stylist, Jessica, was nice and very quick, and offered me water frequently; however, she used a lot of conditioner on my scalp and finishing product which ended up weighing my hair down substantially. I suspect that I may have received the deep conditioning treatment after all, which means there was no communication between the front desk and the hair stylist. In retrospect, I should have said something about the styling product and how I wanted my hair to have more volume. Lesson learned. I suppose I have been spoiled in the past and my hair stylists have always consulted me before they did a cut. The receptionist did give me a coupon on the way out for the next time, which was nice, though the whole thing cost me $45+ tip without the coupon. For that money I have received better service elsewhere. I don't think I will be returning to this spa for a $45 haircut in the future based on this experience, though it seems that this may not be typical of everyone's experience.

During my trip to Chicago I visited my best friend who recommended to me Chocolate for your body where is also hair cut service for men . I was introduce to hair-dresser named - Laura -she did wonderful and amazing job .On the beginning I was so nervous because I was little crazy about my hair but Spa offered complimentary free glass of wine (red or white) which make me total relax . I was so sad I live in Toronto and I cant come here very often .Special thanks for Laura and all staff of Chocolate for your body . I am pretty sure it wasn't my last visit even I am live far away from windy city. Laura makes me looks like a human be I appreciate for all good work .

I recently decided to try out their hair services. I was very impressed !!! The receptionist took my coat right away and offered something to drink. of course i picked out red wine :) the whole experience at the salon was very nice and relaxing (just what i needed) :) Laura did an amazing job on my highlights and a haircut. I received so many complements on my hair even from strangers at a grocery store. She is a fun girl to talk to with a huge passion for what she does. Thank you
