The MOSS robotics system - click, don't walk to get yourself one!
This is as revolutionary as LEGO must have been.
It's really well designed: magnetic coupling, color coded buses and visually obvious terminals make it a cinch. You "program" by matching up the terminals, no computer needed, although they will offer a programmable module.
I put these robots together in no more than 5 minutes each.

- Wrote what I hope to be the right behavior for that top-secret Take Your Children 2 Work Day project. I think that I figured out a good self-tuning algorithm for balancing the two sensors' input and the right values for my two opposing continuous rotation servos.
- Built some MOSS robots.
- Read some comics.
Now if I can figure out how to set a variable frame rate in a video stream encoded using LibFFMPeg, It'll be a good day
or maybe I'll just read some more comics.
It's a good thing that they've got that fire extinguisher ready :)
I made it through a demanding week and actually made significant progress. Last night I had to stop, just breathe for a few minutes and tell myself "It is all going to be OK, you're getting though this" and I did!
What a good feeling for a change.
I hope that you all have a great weekend.
