After visiting the Sistine Chapel/Vatican, I decided to head over here since it was highly rated by Anthony Bourdain. I do not remember how beautiful the chapel was, I don't remember how grand the Vatican Church is, all I remember is how rude the person behind the counter was. Anyways, giving the benefit of doubt I decided to order three pizzas since this is supposedly the best Pizza in Rome, I wanted to take some back to my hotel as well. After spending 17 euros, I concluded that the Pizzas can be compared to the modified Honda Civics with open exhausts. All bark, no bite. They looked decent but the crust was one step short of being classified as a hard taco shell. The toppings were ok. I am not a celebrity chef, I am a common man, and this review is by the common man for common folks. Not worth the 25 minute walk from the Vatican center.

Good pizza kind of cuisine nouveau but very expensive. Costs at least double then average in Rome and it's not double better, just looks more happy. Staff is not very professional. It's ok.

We tried small pieces of a few different pizzas and they were all incredible. This pizzeria stands out compared to the others we ate it because of the variety and creativity. Almost half of the options were vegan or vegetarian when we visited. If they have the pizza with the mashed potatoes on it when you visit be sure to try it. Also, the plain marinara should not be overlooked. It was incredible.

Pizzarium reviewRate it Feel a dough craving coming on after staring at all those muscular Sybils on the Sistine ceiling? Then head for this gourmet carry-out pizza joint, which stands in a rather downmarket residential street not far from the Vatican Museums. It's the fiefdom of Gabriele Bonci, a next-generation pizza baker who combines slow-rise dough made from special flours with fresh, seasonal toppings like wild asparagus, or pesto and aubergine.

Amazing selection of crazy variations. Highly recommended. Just don't expect anything terribly spicy. What they described as "spicy tomato" barely moved the needle on our scale.

A place where you must eat if you are about to visit the Vatican museum. This pizzeria serves slices of very original and tasty pizza at a reasonable price. The only problem is that you can't really sit but it is worth walking a few hundred meters from the museum entrance to enjoy their food.

Very good street food type pizza. Great after a long day sight seeing.
