Soul food is served at this hip, industrial-style eatery with an all-you-can-eat live jazz brunch.- Google
"Excellent Sunday brunch buffet with live music."

I have mixed feelings here. The catfish sandwich was amazing, but the service was really slow. They also offered a brunch buffet. I got really excited until I saw it was really picked over and the variety was good but not great. Let's get back to that cornmeal-fried catfish sandwich - I could eat four of them...

Yeah it was good. Belgian waffles were AWESOME. Restaurant has cool art design. Service was okay. Portions are super small and a bit overpriced, like 2 waffles for 9 bucks. Location is in a real sketchy part of town (super close to the tenderloin) but there's parking in an enclosed fence next to the restaurant.

Great veggie jambalaya, veggie and grits, salads - love it. Easy to get to, close to the theatre and public transportation. Friendly staff. Great atmosphere. Salads around $10, entrees many over $20

Even the salt and pepper shakers are mason jars. That is how hip this place is.

The andouille sausage and sweet pepper scramble was amazing, the coffee was dark and strong, and the décor was inspiringly hand crafted. Service and music choice were both impeccable, too. But most importantly, their homemade hot sauce is seriously face meltingly awesome--and $5 to take home with you in a 15oz bottle. Sad we missed the live music, but still an amazing, reasonably priced brunch experience. Go get you some!

Farmers plate is the best deal, we also ordered the 3 piece chicken but it's not listed as an entree but an appetizer. Chicken is super juicy but really crispy at the same time. Catfish on the farmers plate was not too salty and extremely tasty!

Service was great but the food was not...needs more seasoning in the sides, shrimp were good, catfish was under cooked, fries were extremely greasy, the portion sizes did not go with the price. Shells and cheese lacked flavor, greens need salt and pepper, the sweet tea was tasty!

The food is high-end soul food, but I've noticed the flavor has been a little lacking recently. The cocktail menu is still fantastic.
