Went here with girlfriends for early dinner and grab a cocktail beforehand. Cocktails were amazing. They have happy hour everyday ! Isn't it great! Farmer brown is famous for their chicken and waffles which we ordered too. And their seafood gumbo oh wow super yum! I hope they have it in singapore !

This was the best meal I had this year and I enjoyed every morsel.  I have wanted to try this restaurant for a while, and I was not disappointed.  The southern fried chicken with moist dark meat was cooked perfectly with crispy skin but not too meaty (some may say that there’s not enough meat but I like my fried chicken that way).  The collard greens were delicious with a spicy kick. One of the dinner companions commented that the shells n’ cheese needed more seasoning but I think the lighter version complemented the chicken and greens.  The biscuits with the right amount of flakiness and the waffles were tasty.  The only drawback was the blaring music that was distracting and too loud to have a conversation.

Ok - I'm not a fan of the service that requires whole party there before they'll even check you off to be seated ~ I had reservation, but the host was a bit rude. however, the service of our waitress and bartender makes up for the rude Host. The bartender is knowledable and most drinks here are in mason jar (how hipster for the area!) but its great and fun. Coming on Weds, happy hour, it wasn't as crowded at 5, but gets really crowded by 6. Our small group came here for Dine about town, and I have to say, this is the best dine about town menu there is!!! For $39.50, you get an appz, entree and dessert. I had a cup of jambalaya, and even though it was small, it was filling!! For my entree, I had the fried chicken (super moist, w/ the right amount of crunch) - and for dessert, sadly, they ran out of Red Velvet cake, so we got the pecan pie, which was really good! rich, and fresh whipped cream on top ~ I was stuffed. The little corn muffin w/ this raspberry jelly was also amazing!

You can't go wrong if you order the fried chicken here, but next time I'm trying something different. Good biscuits and cocktails too.

My ultimate favorite fried chicken is from Little Skillet, but when we came here for dinner, their fried chicken came out very dry. The mac and cheese was oily too. The ambiance was great, but the fried chicken experience here was such a disappointment. Perhaps it was because we tried it for Dine About Town...

Came here for brunch. Cute place with a rustic feel. Pretty pricey. Staff was friendly but a small place so I wouldn't recommend for groups.

Farmerbrown is a farm to table comfort food restaurant with a lively atmosphere, good wait staff and nice drink menu. They play movies on a big screen in the middle of the restaurant and there is a DJ booth by the door. The corn bread muffins are perfect and the dishes are traditional comfort food and well made. The pot pie was excellent as is the catfish. Not a lot of really healthy options for those picky eaters.

I made the mistake of ordering off the menu instead of opting for the buffet. HUGE MISTAKE. I ordered the egg skillet with salmon, with the eggs being over hard. I ended up getting eggs over easy, so I had the plate sent back. When I got the plate back, the eggs were perfect, which would have been fine, no? No. When I got into the salmon, it wasn't fully cooked so I had it sent back and opted getting a new order of chicken and waffles, which was far more satisfying. If I were to go back, I'd opt for the buffet, and I'd recommend everyone do that too. They don't seem to be on their cooking game for anything else.
