We are a destination where good things gather: locally-sourced seasonal ingredients, west coast freshness and time-honored southern recipes from the Creoles to the Carolinas, artful _and seasonally celebrated cocktails that _blend well with fresh beats. All come together _to define modern Americana cuisine. With an ambience that mixes true southern providence and generosity of spirit with the heart of San Francisco, you feel native in an instant — welcomed as a member of the family. Any given night promises a constant contrast of energies that fills the space nicely. They say, evidence of a great meal are the feelings that linger afterwards. farmerbrown prides itself in bringing you that unique sense of home.

Soul food is served at this hip, industrial-style eatery with an all-you-can-eat live jazz brunch.- Google
"Excellent Sunday brunch buffet with live music."

Great veggie jambalaya, veggie and grits, salads - love it. Easy to get to, close to the theatre and public transportation. Friendly staff. Great atmosphere. Salads around $10, entrees many over $20

I was told that this was the best breakfast in San Francisco. If it is, then I will be sticking to dinner and lunch in SF. The food was good, but it may be been overhyped. I was disappointed with my breakfast here. The prices were far higher than what I experienced and the service was almost nonexistent.

Pricy, but worth it! The food is very fresh, flavorful, and delicious. I would go everyday!

Just had the cocktails, which were a bit pricey and I was whelmed (neither over nor under... just whelmed). I've herd the chicken and waffles is dope, so I'll have to return and update when I do.

Tasty drinks, really good food. Little pricey, but the pull pork and mac and cheese were delicious.

Everything is cool, the people are great, but it can get very crowded and busy so you would have to wait for a servise a lot

4.5 stars :) Brought a big group from the Philippines here and we loved the food. Corn bread was moist and filling, gumbo was yummy, a little spicy for the kids, so they changed it for them and gave them sweet potato fries instead, which was a big hit. Loved the Steak & Shrimp with grits! The red velvet mini cupcake was the perfect ender (wish it was the normal, bigger size though). Service was good, Staff very friendly. For big groups, must make reservations. (I did a limited menu to make things easier for our group and staff of FarmerBrown) If you're bringing kids (not really recommended though), make sure to make it an early dinner thing, because it gets really packed and noisy after 7pm.

Good Brunch! Great Southern food and nice ambiance with the jazz in the background. I liked that they had some healthy choices like fruit and salad in the brunch too. Overall very happy we tried it on our SF visit.
