Kelley D. Hamilton has overseen the operations of the Bonaventure family of companies since 2001. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer and owner of Bonaventure Construction, Kelley D. Hamilton coordinates all construction for Bonaventure Senior Housing in Salem, Oregon. In this capacity, he oversees budgets and schedules, working hard to keep construction projects on track.
In addition to his position with Bonaventure Construction, Kelley D. Hamilton also serves as CEO and owner of Bonaventure Senior Living, an assisted living healthcare facility providing seniors a community within which they can interact with their peers. As CEO, Kelley D. Hamilton has overseen the expansion of Bonaventure Senior Living from four senior living communities to 37 communities spanning five different states. Today, Kelley D. Hamilton oversees Bonaventure Senior Living’s nearly 4,500 units from Washington to Nevada.
A graduate of Portland State University, Kelley D. Hamilton obtained his bachelor’s degree in finance and business administration, setting the foundation on which to build his career. Kelley D. Hamilton spent his business career with Lyon, Skelte, and Associates, a commercial real estate firm. There, Hamilton served as general manager of the firm’s Portland office, as well as working as a Member Appraisal Institute (MAI) appraiser. During his time with Lyon, Skelte, and Associates, Kelley D. Hamilton began preparing HUD appraisals and market studies, helping him learn the real estate industry in-depth.
In 1996, Kelley D. Hamilton founded Kline Hamilton Realty Advisors. As President and owner of Kline Hamilton, Kelley D. Hamilton learned the ins and outs of the senior living industry. Kline Hamilton Realty Advisors specialized in real estate appraisal and consulting, with an emphasis on properties in the healthcare industry. Many of these properties were senior living facilities, allowing Kelley D. Hamilton to work closely with facilities that housed both retirees and patients living with Alzheimer’s. At Kline Hamilton, Kelley D. Hamilton worked with more than 45 separate clients to develop over 300 appraisals and market studies.
Kelley D. Hamilton joined the team at Bonaventure Senior Care following three years with Kline Hamilton Realty Advisors, managing the business’s operations. His duties with Bonaventure Senior Care include overseeing human resources, technology, legal, finance, marketing, and operations for the healthcare business. An innovative vision led Kelley D. Hamilton to initiate management systems for the company. Kelley D. Hamilton also put in place operational systems for Bonaventure Senior Care, setting the business up for the expansion it has undergone in recent years.
Kelley D. Hamilton is responsible for much of Bonaventure Senior Care’s success and growth. At last count, the healthcare company has a 95 percent satisfaction rate, widely recognized by residents and their families as a great place for seniors to live, according to Kelley D. Hamilton. Through the Bonaventure facilities, Kelley D. Hamilton and his team serve each resident’s needs, including memory care facilities to help those who need specialized care due to memory loss. Those suffering from Dementia, Alzheimer’s, and other memory loss issues can find a Bonaventure location to support their needs in a home-like environment.
Kelley D. Hamilton has served as a board member for Washington Health Care Associates and as an MAI member of the Appraisal Institute. He left the appraisal industry in 2000, at which point he gave up his membership in MAI. Kelley D. Hamilton lives in Oregon.
