I rarely write reviews unless I am really impressed with a place. In this case I was so unimpressed I feel like it would be wrong not to write a review. I made a reservation for 7pm on a Sat. night for 3 people. We arrived 15 mins early so I figured we would have to wait about 15 to 20 minutes to get seated and that is what I was told. I noticed that other people were standing around looking annoyed. Another party of 3 told us they had reservations for 6:45 and were still waiting. We were then told not to stand where we were as it was in the way of the wait staff. So we squeazed our selves next to the bar area. I noticed that other people who came in after us were getting seated. We went back up to the front a couple of times to remind them we were here. After more then 45 mins of waiting my husband went up and found that they had seated many people before us per their computer and when he pointed that out the girl only said if you could wait 5 or 10 minutes longer. My husband then said, this is not actually going to happen is it. She had no answer. During this time we talked to two different parties of 2, One had been waiting 2 hours and the other about an hour. We saw open tables that no was being seated at. I find this sad as this used to be one of our favorite restaurants. I will NEVER go there again. If you can not accomodate the reservations you have on the books, then have the courtesy to say so! We left and had a very nice, less expensive and much more pleasant dinner at The Italian Kitchen just down the street.

Awful food-I ordered a lamb dish that came in a little souffle dish that tasted like cold Dinty Moore beef stew for $17. I told the waiter it was cold - no problem, back in the microwave! Awful chairs, awful view, awful service, this place is a joke!

the restaurant is convieniently close to old town. it has tables both inside as well as at the roof (remember: very few restaurants in la are not only in the ground floor...). they serve excellent meats, the tenderloin was magnificently cooked to perfection. the service was crap, but that is not the case usually. everyone left with a full stomach!

I have been coming here for years, mainly just for the wonderful happy hour! Brian is an awesome bartender, and he has seen me bring in plenty of new customers (as well as dates) to check the place out. Try the Red Sangria (only $5 during HH!). My absolute favorite dish is the Grilled Calamari, only $6 on the happy hour food menu. I also recently tried the Curry Shrimp and that was fantastic as well. Just keep in mind- the happy hour is only at the bar, which is rather small.

We go here just to sit on the balcony, It feels like Greece. The service is wonderful old school. Excellent wine - not inexpensive. There is a good amount of very healthful choices on the menu. Their eggplant dish is superb as is the mediterranean plate.

a wonderful upstairs place. snag a table on the patio for fresh air and a nice meal. the menu is varied an interesting, and the wines are equal to the food. enjoy!
