Interesting story how stats have changed the way we view sports. I thing this is just a microcosm how business, society and work are evolving in the 21st century.

As much as I resist thinking anything can be turn into a stat or algorithm the more I'm remembered that's a dying thought.

This will give brands the ability to response to either positive or negative feedback from customers rapidly. A powerful new tool for brands that want to listen and response to what their customers are saying. #analytics   #marketing

Heuristics is jargon used by decision psychologists and behavioral economists to refer to cognitive shortcuts we humans take to make judgments and decisions. One of the first heuristics identified as such by Danny Kahneman and Amos Tversky was the anchoring heuristic. I would define it for you, but it is wonderfully captured in this cartoon. #behavioraleconomics

I have been progressively limiting my distractions for some time now, but NIr, who I had the pleasure of meeting last month, touches on something revealing about digital behavior that should help me make more gains in my quest for sharper focus and attention.
I will be more purposely present and submit to the human 'uncomfortability' that make us human and resist the pull of the glow of my phone.
The comments at the end of the article offer particularly insightful recommendations. ‪#‎psychology‬
