(tl:dr Anyone whant to chat about how to save the world?)

I am on my way home from an amazing conference on Effective Altruism. For you who do not know, Effective Altruism is the investigation of how each of us can do the maximum good in the world. For example:
* Which charity would do the most good with my money?
* What career choices can I make to maximize my positive impact in the world?

Effective Altruism is not an ideology but a methodology. The first step step is to decide what things you value. Do you want to save human lives, improve world wide education, stop animal suffering, or something else? Second you decide how much time and money you want to spend on this. NO-ONE WILL SHAME YOU FOR NOT DOING MORE! Third you find out what is the best use of that time and money. Forth, DO IT!

You do not have to figure this all out for your self. If you are not the kind of person who enjoy saving the world all alone, then let's do it together. I want to help you find what you can do. If you are a very buissy person I can tell you the secret shortcut to step four. ;-)
