I loved my meal at this place. Ambiance is dark and expansive... almost cavernous, but the ceilings are tall. My companion and I split the spreads, the asparagus, the chicken basteeya, and the lamb shank. The chicken was definitely my favorite: a light pastry surrounding a warm rich center with an interesting sweet-yet-savory flavor. The drinks were good too. I recommend the mango coconut kiwi chia gin: smooth on the start, sharp gin flavor on the finish. Well-priced for what you get.

First, I would like to acknowledge the severs and the hostess because they were so warm and friendly. Second, the venue was nice although it was a little dark for me, but it had a nice vibe. Third, the food; I have read most of the reviews but I was not impressed with the food. Appetizers: The signature dish "boneless honey glazed chicken wings" was overly salty. I think it was a combination of seasoning both the meat and the batter, but that should be an easy thing to correct. The picked cucumber was okay and the yogurt sauce was a bland. Entrée: I had the "Lamb Shank", and the barley with apricots was to die for, and the lamb shank was huge and had a nice sear. The red cabbage slaw on top of the barley I did not care for so much, it needed to be a little bit more acidic to balance out the sweetness from the barely. The next day I had the leftovers for lunch, and the cabbage underneath the barley works and pairs perfectly with the meal. Dessert: I had the "black Bean Curd" or something like that, but it did not taste like black bean. The dessert was great, but I did not expect the black bean curd to taste pomegranate. Again the dessert was good, light and refreshing after a heavy meal. All-in-all, the food was okay but it was not memorable for me, and the staff made more of impression.

Incredible tasting menu with a fusion of so many different ingredients and flavors. I was surprised at how creative their cocktail list is as well. The fennel, dill, saffron and black pepper cocktail is like nothing I've ever tasted before. The service was excellent as well.

One of the best restaurants in all of SF and lucky for me it's in the Richmond district. The genius cocktails are reason enough to come, but the well thought out and delicious food is the reason to stay. It's dark but it seems to suit the place well. Service is a great as well. MUST TRY THE LAMB.

I have now had two incredible meals at Aziza. The cocktail program is great, I highly recommend the celery, sage, agave and gin cocktail. Other highlights include the duck bastiya which is out of this world! Great spot for dates, but doesn't have to be romantic. This is definitely one of my favorite spots in the city.

Excellent food. The cocktails are hands down the best and most creative I've ever had. Service is warm. It's a must if you haven't been.
