This place is so cool! It feels like you're inside of the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disneyland! Whoever designed the space obviously put so much time and effort into choosing everything from the glassware to the wallpaper. There is so much detail in every nook and cranny. It honestly feels like you've been transported back in time to the west. The drinks are expensive and on the weekends this place gets packed! But it's a nice place to get a drink every once in awhile. Oh and the live band is great!

This place is all about atmosphere. I love the deep southern vibe - down to the menu with fried green tomatoes and the artfully assembled well drinks, this place screams southern comfort. It's a little on the pricier side but is a great pit stop while bar-hopping for a little scenic change and a step away from the typical hollywood bar scene.

The atmosphere here is great. Dress the part and come in and hang out. There's a drum kit in a loft so expect live music occasionally. And check out a show in the attic upstairs if you're lucky enough to get in.

Thinking about going to Savannah to drink yourself silly? Save the money you would spend on a plane ticket and buy yourself (and your new friends) a whole lotta drinks at this restaurant that looks and feels like you are in the South.

Cocktails anyone?!? Cool spot we discovered while we were in Hollywood last week. They have valet parking available so don't waste your time driving around to find a spot. Overall vibes were nice with cool decor. They have live music almost every day. Bartenders and employees are friendly and attentive.

We were so DISAPPOINTED! The staff was so HORRIBLE. The bartenders refused to take our order and bypassed all color in sight, which really was non-existent. The whole environment was so disrespectful. What's truly amazing was, amongst all the ignorance, a beautiful painting of Frederick Douglass stood on the the wall, observing all this disgusting behavior. It was so hypocritical. It was like having a bunch of KLAN members sitting around right in the smack of the city of the Angeles...go figure.

After hearing about this place a few times and then seeing it mentioned in Details Mag I knew I had to check it out. So on a cold January night I ventured over there, being a Friday the first thing I noticed is it was the only place in the area with a line out the door. Being that it is from the group that made the great bar La Descarga I knew it would definitely be impressive, after passing through the cast iron entrance it was like I was in a real southern bar, they actually imported the bar from a Savanna Townhouse or so I heard i mean the wood and all so it's pretty authentic. It has a live Jazz band also win win win. This is the type of bar everyone should check out, the drinks are great and so is the crowd.
