An anonymous reader quotes a report from Ars Technica: For the better part of a day, KrebsOnSecurity, arguably the world's most intrepid source of security news, has been silenced, presumably by a handful of individuals who didn't like a recent series of exposes reporter Brian Krebs wrote. The incid...

An anonymous reader writes: The RATAN-600 radio telescope in Zelenchukskaya, Russia has detected a strong signal around 11 GHz (which is very unlikely to be naturally-caused) coming from HD164595, a star nearly identical in mass to the Sun and located about 95 light years from Earth. The system is k...

Elizabeth Weise, reporting from USATODAY: In an effort to lure hard-to-hire tech workers and possibly recast its reputation as a harsh workplace, Amazon plans to pilot a program of part-time teams composed entirely of employees putting in 30-hour weeks. Happy Hour deals are good, but since they removed the sliders I don't go as much. Was the best item on hh menu, but there are so many other choices available

Brian was great, he really showed that they wanted me to happy with my choice. We talked over areas and gave me insights on the different parts of Houston. We conferred over the phone over my preferences and sent me a list to review before we even started viewing my selections. After visiting each place, he asked me my thoughts. He just kept refining new lists of places and went that extra mile for me. He even did negotiating right off the bat to get me the best deal possible at each place we visited. I would recommend the group to anyone, whether looking for a rental or to buy. I will definitely use them again when I enter the market again.
