Join us in congratulating Ashley Farewell for being one of the finalist recognized for @Hotel Council of San Francisco's "Beyond the Call of Duty" Award.
Ashley joined the Grand Hyatt San Francisco family in June 2014 as a Food & Beverage CMT. Shortly into her training rotation she accepted the position as Assistant Housekeeping Manager. Ashley's most amazing quality is her ability to relate and have compassion for her guests and associates. Since day one Ashley has proven to be self-motivated and utilizes every opportunity to go above and beyond her duties. When dealing with a guest concern she does not resolve it without adding something extra and having fun doing it!

NOT HAPPY! NOT HAPPY! Did not get the room I was promsised, DISAPPOINTED. Sorry sold out? My luggage was delivered to the wrong occupied room, MISTAKE. Hence i did not recieved my luggage. I called the Grand Hyatt bell desk to find out what happened to my luggage. The Grand Hyatt found my luggage, but a privacy issue, and I am UNCOMFORTABLE with the experience. NOT HAPPY! NOT HAPPY!

Great hotel in the heart of downtown SF and Union Square area. Great access to all of the shopping and sight seeing that San Francisco is famous for. Recently updated and looking quite nice! I really like the new color scheme and the look of the lobby area. Staff is quite helpful and ready to take care of every need. Rooms are a bit better than average. Nice place to spend your night. Bar and restaurant are very nice. Bartenders make easily the best Moscow Mule I've had to date and I am a connoisseur!

Super nice hotel in the heart of FiDi. Close to Union Square (a block away) and across the street from a Starbucks (go there, not inside the hotel). Nice roomy rooms with LCD tbs. Great meeting space (usually with free wifi as cell reception is terrible in a basement). Super nice staff. Great hotel bar area- I recommend their Moscow Mule.

Lobby and restaurant are well designed. We had a room in 23th floor so the view was awesome. Rooms interior was low level. Pictures at the wall were a pain in the eyes. No minibar and hysterical stuff.

Nestled in the heart of downtown San Francisco, this place combines luxury with affordability. It is literally closer to everything in the downtown area including fine dining. Several museums and shopping centers are within a short walking distance of this great location. All the beds and bathrooms were very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the place very much.

Make sure you ask if the streets surrounding Union Square are still under construction. They work throughout the night and it is extremely loud. They are not willing to provide other accommodations, so if you book here while Union Square streets are under construction, make sure you get a room on the opposite side of the hotel.

Thank you for your feedback. Please accept our sincere apologies for the poor experience. We tried our best to accommodate our guest's request based on hotel availability and we are truly sorry we were not able to offer a quieter room. Should your travel bring you back to San Francisco, please contact us directly, so that we can ensure your next visit will be a more enjoyable one. Best regards, Tiffany

Very nice hotel. I had a company event here asking with a two night stay. My stay was in a king sized room. Very nice there was chocolates and free water bottles in my room. The TV know my name. I love the bathroom and the shower was awesome. I had forgotten my tooth paste but there was some waiting for me in my room along with a list of other free things I could get if I did not have them. If you have a chance I recommend trying to get to the 36th floor the views are awesome. The only thing I did not like was the elevators they took forever to get to your floor.
