July 4th long weekend is upon us and there are plenty of things-to-do in the city! Start planning your weekend in San Francisco!
Fireworks, picnics in the park, hot dogs on the grill — well, OK, maybe a veggie burger, or two, but San Francisco will be right in step with the rest of the U.S. for the Fourth of July despite her reputation for being a bit of a maverick.

Our San Francisco #UnionSquare hotel is a quick 15 minute walk to #MosconeCenter, the go-to location for the Bay Area's biggest conferences. Stop by our restaurant, #OneUp, before heading over to the event venue, book a breakout session for your group in our stunning meeting spaces, or book a group room block while attending your conference. "Rainbow LOVE", adding the 11th piece of local art to our already impressive art collection! Yesterday we unveiled this new art sculpture by Laura Kimpton, now served as the highlight of public courtyard space we share with the new Apple flagship store!

The rainbow painted piece is nearly 21 feet long and six feet tall, with each letter comprised of Corten Steel and finished with hundreds of programmable LED lights, each weighing up to 450 pounds. “Rainbow LOVE” reflects the philosophy of equality without exception and freedom to love whoever you love, capturing the free spirit of the 60s and celebrating San Francisco’s long history of supporting equal rights.

Chic high-rise hotel offering free WiFi, plus a bistro with an adjoining lounge/bar.- Google
"Great view of the city and alcatraz from the club lounge on the 32nd floor."
"Really expensive bar, but a pretty cool view if you want it."

Stayed in King Room., NO refrigerator, NO cupboard. Going to check this morning. My apology. Haved checked and it was my mistake. There are refrigerator and cupboard. Service was good. Good location to go anywhere.

The hotel is beautiful, right next to union square. It's very close to any public transport. Good to stay here if you are coming as a tourist. I honestly didn't use any of their service yet, so can't comment on that.

The Grand Hyatt is located right next to Union Square. There are plenty of shops nearby, including drugstores, souvenir shops, Macy's, Apple, Niemann Marcus, and more. There are also many restaurants within walking distance, offering great local eats (like The White Horse). The hotel itself is very chic. The lobby has a glass wall, leather furniture, a fireplace, and more, including a stairway leading up to the OneUp bar and restaurant on the mezzanine, which is a fantastic place to meet with coworkers or friends for after dinner drinks. The staff is extremely polite, and more often than not, someone is holding a door for you and smiling. The rooms are clean and quaint, with all the amenities you're used to. But the hotel includes a list of items you can receive for free (such as toiletries, slippers, etc.) or borrow (robe, humidifier). It's a fantastic place to spend your stay in San Francisco.

The location is solid as it puts you in the heart of the downtown core. The staff were incredibly friendly and some where very genuine. The hotel itself is fine, not sure it's a nice as other Grand Hyatt's. Some elevators weren't operating making the ones that were, very slow and full. The OneUp lounge was satisfactory but nothing too special. Unfortunately our room was very stuffy and we were unable to get the temperature adjusted comfortably. Highlights were the friendly staff and fantastic room service. If I had to choose which San Francisco Hyatt to stay at- I would pick the Regency.

Grand Hyatt service all around. Room was very nice with a decent view. Missing a few extra like complementary water, but the bed was super comfortable. Will definitely return if not just for the great location.

We found hair on the wall of our hotel room and the receptionist called a manager. Two women came in, one took a picture of the hair and a very disgruntled room service employee cleaned the restroom while we were still in the room. It was a very unprofessional and awkward experience for our family. Never going to this hotel ever again. Extremely disappointed in the service we received after a long 6 hour drive to San Francisco.

Quiet rooms, comfortable beds and a great night's sleep. Shower works, but is sort of difficult to adjust to the proper temperature. Overall, a nice place to stay.
