Chapter 13 bankruptcies are also known as “wage earner plans” because, in order to file one, you are required to have some sort of regular income.

You may be able to discharge tax debts with a bankruptcy filing. However, the rules for this type of discharge are very stringent.

Generally speaking, assets in a Chapter 7 bankruptcy are turned back over to creditors to offset the unpaid debts of the person filing.

Wow! I was making payments on my bankruptsy , but before I was done a creditor had got a garnishment of my wages.I told Oswalt Law that I would not be able to pay the garnishment and make payments on the BK at the same time. They reduced my bill by $600.00 , enabling me to file bankruptsy this month and stop the garnishment.Thankk you Oswalt Law.

Oswalt Law took payments from me equal to the fee of the bankruptcy and their cost. They decide they cannot represent me, and it so happens to fall under a fee schedule for a refund with a 300 minimum charge, then 90 a month during the contract. That also equals the length of time that they take to decide they cannot represent you. Careful with these crooks.
