So I just got these last night. Computer Science for Babies. Washable, nontoxic, soft, with some crinkley paper in the cover and a chew ring. Did I also mention it teaches babies Boolean Logic?

Finally! Someone gets it! +Betakit 's article actually manages to properly contextualize the Google Glass Explorer experiment's role among the ever-adapting the landscape of wearable technology. They cogently arguing that "{Glass} was far from a failure, as was previously and sadly continuously reported, instead regarding it as the most important wearable of 2014.

They nailed it with this quote:
"The most important thing to remember about Google Glass up until this point is that...Project Glass was an experiment, and those wearing the device (Explorers) and the people they came into contact with were all its subjects."

I'm happy to share this amazing article by +Betakit
Thanks for the lively discussion about experiments vs expectations , +Virginia Poltrack Things have come a long, long way since Nov.

"The justice system works swiftly now that they've abolished lawyers." -- Doc Brown
Watson Powered Lawyer

"ROSS’ creators, a team of U of T students, created the program to replace more traditional legal search engines such as Quicklaw and Westlaw. Instead of search algorithms, ROSS uses cognitive computing to quickly provide highly specialized readings that directly answer legal question posed to it, along with a handy “confidence” meter. According to Andrew Arruda, a University of Saskatchewan law graduate and the CEO of ROSS’ corporate owner, ROSS Intelligence, ROSS can answer in seconds legal questions that would take law students and junior lawyers long hours of tedious research."

Nice positive article.  I like the term "eyeables".  He also has a point when he says Nest CEO Fadell "is a visionary billionaire who has no need to be saddled with something he doesn’t believe in."

"And although the market value of machine learning and data science talent is climbing rapidly, the value of most human labor will precipitously fall. This change marks a true disruption, and there are fortunes to be made."
