Always worth a visit. The Jeff Koon's exhibition was excellent and full of humour-something for all ages-iconic! Worth a trip for the wacky architecture alone and great views from the top.(Incidently you don't have to pay to access the building -only some exhibitions, and if like me you don't like ques-there is a self -service automated ticket machine near the entrance door!). There was also an interactive (free) science -meets- art exhibition area (exploring weather) in the mezzanine area where tired mums and dads sat and children could play safely.

One of my favorite modern art museum in the world, that is modern art-chitecture itself. What an impressive building! Enjoy the glass tubes holding the stairs from floor to floor, enjoy the view from the terrace and all the artworks inside! Love modern art? Visit Centre Pompidu and buy a mug as a souvenir!

It's an absolute must for a Paris visit. Besides the exhibits, the building itself is an expression of contemporary art. Don't judge it on first appearance as it tends to grow on you.

For me it was a waste of time. A lot of wasted space. The "art" that was there, I guess is just beyond me and I don't understand it. If cardboard glued together in a pile and balls of different sizes interest you, then enjoy! The Orsay and The Louvre were great. Stick with those.

Paris's other iconic building Its inside out, designed by Renzo Piano, structure, houses a restaurant bar at the top, large contemporary art museum (middle floors), cinema, shops and a library. The art museum is world class, up there with London's Tate Modern and New York's MoMA. It's large galleries are flexible for immersive exhibitions and there's plenty of space to share with other visitors. Unmissable for modern art fans and a decent gift shop at the end.

If you like Modern Art, you will really appreciate the Pompidou. It has a cafe at the top which allows you to get some great views across the city.

Always work a quick visit. If not for the museum, then just for the architecture of the building.

Meh, the building didn't impress me at all. So it has colored pipes outside instead of inside, big deal. It was gray, dusty, and looked a bit run-down - as if the people there stopped caring about it. The area around it was alive with all kinds of crazy performers though, that was really neat. We didn't go inside, maybe it "feels" different if you do that? I expected more from something as hyped as this.
