The Vitrocsa turnable corner window system by Vitrocsa combines the technology of both the pivot and sliding systems.

Each pane is supported on two highly engineered pivots which slide on the stainless steel rollers in the track. This enables the panes to slide horizontally and to slide around any number of corners, allowing the panels to be moved away completely creating one large opening.

HOUSE IN TUCSON | ARIZONA

This house in Tucson Arizona by Bobinette Architects follows a rich tradition of Architecture which takes advantage of the Desert Climate - Hot and Dry during the day and cool in the evenings.

Often buildings use rough concrete or abode walls, large overhangs, natural evaporative cooling and in this case Vitrocsa minimal windows - the slim mullions breaking up the glazing into well proportioned panes of sliding glass.

LONDON EXTENSIONS | SLIDING DOORS

All these London extension projects use Vitrocsa Minimal sliding doors to great effect.

The large Pavilion extension for a house in Kew by Found Architects uses four large (350kg) panes that can slide and stack to one side or the other. The remodelled house in Primrose hill by Boyarsky Murphy uses tall narrow TH+32 sliding windows (900x6000h). The extension by Paul+O Architects in Crouch End uses the V32 system with its high U- values, slim mullions and flush threshold - the design of the custom made covers for the recessed radiators repeated in the detailing of the terrace decking.
