Very interesting history and peek behind the curtains of the British Board of Film Classification. I'm entirely against censorship in any form but I'm highly supportive of agencies that review material and issue guidance. I just wish there were more agencies doing it so I have choice over who I want to pay attention to. As it stands the BBFC have a censorship role when they refuse to issue a classification which means the film can't legally be shown or bought. Maybe they need some new ratings such as "Abhorrent" for some of the things they are reviewing!
