Mr. Havel's 7th grade class created Rome's Twelve Tables (laws) last week. The students broke into groups of Plebians, elected a Tribune for each group (rock-paper-scissors was used to elect one of the Tribunes) and then created 12 Laws. The Tribunes met with Emperor Havel to collaborate and create one set of 12 laws that were followed in class for the week. The laws were posted on Google classroom so that students knew the laws to follow.

The new Incarnate Word Academy preschool programs for 3 and 4 year old children are professionally designed to develop skills and transition students from home to school in a faith-based, safe, nurturing environment. We provide a consistent schedule and routine to lessen anxiety and prepare students for all-day school. From the first day, the children will learn what to expect and enjoy many fun activities while learning:

• social skills
