Great phone. Odd company
Few smartphones are as aggressively marketed as Samsung's Galaxy S5. The S5 can no longer be considered brand-new -- but it is Samsung's flagship, at least for the next few months. With a gorgeous screen, a capable camera, a waterproof build, and a user-replaceable battery, the Galaxy S5 has a lot to offer... at least…

Buckyballs co-founder Craig Zucker says he was bullied by the government. The Feds say his company deserved to die.

I have bought dozens of books at the shop and have a great backlog of enjoyable reading ahead of me. That's probably the best bargain at this shop now because the "management" seems to have adopted a "price it so it hurts" attitude over the past year of so. I've been visiting this shop for about 6 years and used to buy delightful and unusual items regularly. (The shop once had a large stock of memorabilia from the estate of Jean Dixon--the so-called fortune teller--that sold for next to nothing and I bought a chromed precision-cast model of a Caterpillar tractor that was commissioned by the corporation for their 100th anniversary. I paid $5 for a $100 collectible.) Sometimes (semiannually) they have a clearance sale that is a genuine bargain. Maybe some day they will go back to being a "thrift shop" but the watch word for now is "Buyer Beware".

They don't keep scheduled appointments, They don't call when they don't show up, They don't return calls when things go wrong. Their septic system repair has failed Fairfax County inspection twice and they are not working quickly to correct the problem. We now have an open distribution box filled with black sewage and an open hole in the yard for someone to fall into.
