My wife and I stopped shopping in this shop after being treated rudely by the present staff – that was when they condescended to give us their attention. Not only did I always enjoy looking at the various “offers” which were on display but also the friendly banter that both the late owner and his previous right hand woman participated in.
We used to shop at The Larder at least once a week from the turn of the century until August of 2013. Obviously as the years go by so prices increase but in the last year our average spend was £20 per week.
With regards to this video the only comment worthy of note is that for a professional (?) presentation it is very poor – the cameraman’s reflection can be seen in the shop window; The blurred views of empty and half full shelves and a non-smiling member of staff with a mug (of coffee (?) on the counter top is not a great advertisement for the shop.
