Bristol scientists are helping to change the world by using pee.

Pee Power is a technology that generates electricity using urine as fuel. Developed by the Bristol BioEnergy Centre(BBiC), based at the Bristol Robotics Lab at the University of the West of England (UWE), the technology has just completed its first field test in Uganda.

And over the next few years, the project – which is funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation – will go to other parts of the world such as India Nepal, Kenya and Burkina Faso. http://www.bristolpost.co.uk/news/bristol-news/watch-how-uwe-bristol-scientists-425508#ICID=nsm
