My husband and I stayed for a night recently and it was my first time at a B & B, so I didn't know what to expect. Luckily, my first experience was wonderful; the owners are very friendly and funny. We stayed in a room with an airplane theme, which was neat. In the morning, we had coffee/tea/juice, fruit with cream, granola with yogurt and waffles and bacon. It was followed up with peach cobbler for dessert...dessert for breakfast! How awesome is that? We had fun, and the location is very nice - walk to the Peruvian restaurant down a's a perk.

Brandi - thank you for the very positive review and so glad you liked our breakfasts. We certainly enjoyed having you and your husband at Goose & Turrets and hope you will become regular B&B goers. Do come back here.

If you're not looking for an escape from rude society, you probably shouldn't stay here. But if you're looking for a rustic and quaint experience with people whom genuinely enjoy sharing their life with strangers then this IS the place for you. The proprietors Emily and Raymond are genuinely welcoming and make you feel right at home. The humingbird sweet was a nice relaxing space and if we felt social during the day we need just walk out into the common area. No technology (no reception from phones, but light wifi provided) was a welcomed brake. Breakfast was a wonderful change from a fast paced grab and go world with a 4 course meal providee with the rest of the guest for unique conversation and experiences. Would stay again. Only thing I would do differently is bring my own pillow, blanket and fan. Those provided weren't bad, but my person is very sweaty, and recovering from cervical surgery, temperamental.

Thank you, Brandon, for the lovely review. We enjoyed having you stay at Goose & Turrets, and your contribution was part of what made breakfast table conversation lively. We look forward to seeing you here again - and hope your recovery from surgery is soon complete. Emily & Raymond
