k out my blog where i talk about a shirt design. http://pocza.com/shirt-art/ #kidmin   #shirts   #bible
shirt art. My best work tends to be character driven. I love creating characters to fit client needs and have often referred to my work as “Illustration with Character”. See what I did there? lol. About a year ago, I created a pretty fun a logo for a church youth group.

Stock. Over the years I have been doing LOTS of faith-based illustrations. It started when I was asked to illustrate a book for Mars Hill Church. The series became part of their kids ministry decorations as well as coloring books. With that giant push, I was asked by other churches like New ...

I was doing yoga at Gold's and liked it. But I tried Sattva and was stunned by the contrast. The caliber of teaching has improved my own skills and each teacher really has a nice way of helping along. I have learned more in one month here than several at Gold's (where it is mostly guided, not as instructional. I don't mean to bash Gold's). Very helpful studio and I would highly recommend checking em out.

I went in for two recall parts for my car, as well as a replacement head light. After waiting for TWO hours, I was told the parts were not in. Why have me come in and waste two hours of my day if no parts are ready? I was very upset. I work from home, have deadlines and I charge $100 an hour. So I was losing money on top. It took another hour+ to get the light replaced and a couple valves that happened to be under warranty (thankfully). I was told I would get a call when the parts were in and I could schedule to have the two recall parts replaced. I have still heard nothing.

I have been training at True Martial Arts for over 10 years. My son started there and got me to participate. I went in resisting it thinking I could never do this. Years later, I just received my hard earned 2nd degree black belt. Yes, it took me several years to achieve, but I did it. TMA is not a belt mill. Each student works hard to get their belts. As a student and an instructor, I’m impressed with how the school works with the students to help them get through whatever hurdle they face to get to the next level. I have seen many students mature into great martial artists with outstanding character. There are students that athleticism comes easy and they can rise up in the ranks quickly. That isn’t me. But I keep at it because TMA is a good school, filled with good people. I can train in martial arts just about anywhere, but I do not believe I would have had the same experience anywhere else and I strive to pass that on to my students. With the emphasis in Tae kwon do and Modern Arnis, TMA also prepares student for self defense. A great mix of traditional martial arts and self defense and mental requirements. The school not only works the body, but the mind as well, helping students mature with the knowledge gained in each rank. I would encourage anyone to drop in for a free class, and there is a good chance you see me there!
