J Barrows has a good article about the power of walking away.  

Whilst we don't subscribe to "closing" as a skill or stage, we agree that if you've done your job correctly and identified the prospects needs and aligned them to the value you can create, the walk away "close" is very powerful in moving forward when unnecessary delays or obstacles are put in the way of progress.
