Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in trauma, and difficulties with attachment. I work with youth and adults. My work is relationally, and psychoanalytically informed. Defenses that cause distress are gently explored. Careful expansion of the ability to integrate empathy and the developing self-story are the later parts of my approach. I help people move from the distress of keeping themselves organized around problematic childhood experiences. We move toward creating new body/brain connections that create harmony in their internal organizations. I am currently taking new clients.
