Commuters catching buses and trains may also snare bigger tax break
The pretax benefit for commuters who ride trains and buses will increase to $255 a month next year and be permanently on par with the tax break for people who drive to work and pay to park their cars, under legislation passed by Congress on Friday and sent to the White House.

Reserved parking goes on sale at O'Hare, Midway airports
For an additional $10 a day above the standard rates, reserved parking will be available starting Tuesday to travelers using the garages at Chicago's two airports, O'Hare and Midway, city officials said Monday.

Study: Chicago, FAA underestimated impact of O'Hare expansion
More than 45,000 people will be adversely affected by jet noise if the runway expansion project at O'Hare International Airport is completed, according to a new analysis released Thursday that said Chicago and the Federal Aviation Administration severely understated how many residents would be significantly disturbed.

Winds shut down O'Hare's main runways, sparking long delays
Flights to Chicago were arriving more than an hour late on average at O'Hare International Airport on Wednesday because of strong crosswinds that prevented the use of the airfield's five east-west parallel runways, the Federal Aviation Administration reported.

Over 2 hours since touchdown. We reached a gate at United about 30 mins. ago, and the skybridge was frozen. Now thay will tow the plane to another gate.
